I love the pattern maker and the customization it allows. It's great for new websites looking for the illustrations too for the landing page! Again, highly customizable with different styles to suit your needs. You also have the ability to make edits right on the site, changing colors, etc. And it allows you to download different formats such as svg or png. Another feature I love is the scaling when it comes to downloading, you can download the graphic at 16px, 32px, etc ... **What do you dislike about Flaticon?** I don't like the limits it has for non premium accounts. Per day a non premium user can only download a certain amount of svgs, which can be a bummer if you're looking to get all your resources to complete a project from this site. You'd just have to wait until the next day or pay the premium fee. **Recommendations to others considering Flaticon:** It's best to pay to use the premium account, that's when you'll get the most benefit from the tool. You'll end up frustrated if it's your primary source for visuals/graphic design. **What problems is Flaticon solving and how is that benefiting you?** You 're saving a lot of time using Flaticon. If you're working on a project with a time crunch or don't have the right resources (i.e, a graphic designer) this tool is amazing! Often I need a graphic that may be simple but would require me to open design software and build myself. That takes time, and when I'm trying to meet deadlines, utilizing Flaticon makes the most sense. I'm able to use a sophisticated search function and even find icons in packs of similar designs so my end project looks cohesive. **What do you dislike about Flaticon?** The site can reset your page navigation if you are prompted to login while you are attempting to download a graphic, but this is most likely simply a browser issue ( I use Chrome). Otherwise there are no real detractors to the service. The site is well maintained and I've never experienced an outage. **Recommendations to others considering Flaticon:** It's a great solution for quickly making your projects pop with professional graphics. The site offers the ability to download graphics in multiple formats and if you choose to use the free version, a simple way to acknowledge the artists who created the material. **What problems is Flaticon solving and how is that benefiting you?** When I need quick solutions to problems that would ordinarily require me to build my own graphics, I can always rely on the site for multiple solutions. Plus, with the ability to edit icon colors on the site, it makes it easier to quick prepare graphics for quick turn around use! **What do you dislike about Flaticon?** There's not too much that I dislike about the tool, the only thing I would recommend is to allow the user to choose the size/scale of the export of the icon if they are turning it into a PNG. It is free to use and there are only some icons or collections that are available under the premium banner. I am in love with this tool because it lets me download or use any kind of icons from a large collection of category-wise managed icons. You can also download the icons based on the categories in which they fall in. And that makes searching process much easier and efficient as well. **What do you dislike about Flaticon?** Despite all the features, there is a feature which can be improved. I think, their search algorithm is not very much strong and it does not identify or suggest anything if you have made any kind of spelling mistake. Also it does not let you use or integrate the icons directly in your website through a CDN tool , just like Font Awesome or Material Icons or Feather Icons. That are the only disappointing features that I have came across in this tool.
