Flashpoint Pros and Cons

Flashpoint has the most comprehensive deep and dark web coverage we've seen to date. We love that we can search across ignite for any keyword and get actionable intelligence that can mean the difference between an open and close case investigation. It is easy to add things to ongoing investigations within Flashpoint to collect relegvant data about any one investigation over a long period of time. I love that we can get easy insights into some of the metadata for these findings too. Cross-referencing usernames with posting activity has been invaluable for our Fraud team. Probably the price, but with one of the best service offerings in the industry you get what you pay for. We could use more than five seats for our organization but price controls prevent us from doing so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I only use the browser to be able to search without blocked websites. It's very easy to use.

Furthermore, the customer service is great. When we have a question, we can email and get a response quickly. We also have quartely meetings with our Flashpoint rep for any questions we may have or for them to present to us any new features on Flashpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. We have been involved with Beta testing for months and very key features in fp.tools that we have said we need to see in Ignite are not being integrated (most notably a quick look timeline for search results)

2. We are still getting inconsistencies in results across both platforms

3. Loading failures are still occuring

4. Ignite AI is not useful for the granulatity of research that our analysts do - a lot of the actors we focus on are not the very common ones covered in intelligence products.

Flashpoint offered a comprehensive list of all the features we needed, including: dark web monitoring, executive and domain protection, threat intelligence feeds, and 3rd party vendor monitoring.
