Finch’s documentation is easy to follow, allowing us to test quickly before going live into production. Integration was pretty easy and worked great. Account team is very customer centric and always there to step in and guide us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't too much to call out.... I would like more proactive guidance and working sessions. Thankfully, the Finch team has carved out time to walk us through best practices and review new roadmap features with us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Finch and Thoropass have been partners since both were early stage startups years ago. That means both companies and our relationship have seen a lot of changes over the years. When Sam Gurdus came on board as the head of customer success, him and the team really did an amazing job ensuring we were supported and we had a voice at Finch who helped address any needs we had. We're able to quickly deploy new HRIS systems with ease and we're excited about the roadmap Finch has shared and grateful for including us in their roadmap and love working with their productg team. Yash has been our dev success manager this year and he's great to work with and has really gone above and beyond constantly to help us have a successful partnership. This is really changing now, but until somewhat recently we had less input into the product or opportunities to be interviewed by the product team. I think moving forward this will really be mutually beneficial especially because there are some really important 2025 Finch Roadmap items that are important to Thoropass. Can't wait to continue working with this team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate how Finch is standardizing data from different providers. It's highly scalable, although we have yet to use it in production. I'm also glad to see the integration with multiple providers now available in the market. The support team at Finch has been consistently helpful and responsive to our questions and feature requests. Many of the fields we receive are nullable, except for the internal IDs generated by Finch. This often leads to uncertainty about whether it will cause issues. As a result, it falls on the employer's team to address and resolve these issues, which can require significant discussions and effort on their side. This undermines the benefit of having a standardized, single platform to provide data for us to consume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support provided by Finch instills great confidence in their aptitude as well as the fact that their team cares about our success. Clear communication, frequent updates, and the ability to execute solutions make me a huge fan of their product and team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Improvements and features take some time to get fine tuned, which is completely expected. It's great to be able to rely on the Finch team for guidance and troubleshooting while they work out the minutiae

The nunaces with each provider isn't spelled out more specifically up front in the API docs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer service is really good, quick replies and fixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some API integrations can be a bit unreliable, but it's the nature of the beast with this type of product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Single code base for multiple vendors, variety of platforms supported Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing at the moment, would like to see the assisted platforms become automated in the future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Finch has great documentation and has an easy to learn API. I individually built out our integration within a week. Their customer service is also very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We had no major issues with using Finch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our use depends on "write" functionality in addition to "read." Finch is the best API for writing payroll data, hands down. We implemented Finch even faster than the time they forecasted for us, which was a pleasant surprise. Their support team is quick to respond and clearly knowledgeable about their product. We'd love if Finch had 100% coverage of all payroll providers eventually, as sometimes we encounter customers with more obscure payroll systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Finch makes it easy to support integrating with multiple HRIS/payroll providers quickly, and for our customers to get connected to Finch. Finch normalizes the data across providers, so the data we get is standardized and clean. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We would love to see Finch support more adjacent HR categories outside of HRIS/payroll! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy access to top payroll providers our customers are using, such as Gusto, Justworks, and Paylocity. Helps save weeks of engineering time by integrating with only 1 API vs. multiple. great customer support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were worried about hitting rate limits, but were able to discuss with our developer engineer at Finch, who walked us through options to ensure we were not getting throttled. If I could choose, we wouldn’t have hit the rate limit in the first place, but I suppose that’s part of building across dozens of integrations. Generally, we’d like more automated integrations, and are seeing more delivered lately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
