**What do you like best about Extend?**

I found setting up Extend to be easy.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

I am very disappointed with the warranty process provided by Extend. The communication was poor, as the return mail went to my spam, which caused delays. When I finally attempted to send back the item, I had to reapply for the replacement and was denied, despite being previously approved for the exact same issue. This lack of clarity and consistency has caused me significant frustration. Moreover, the warranty process has been a waste of my time and money, providing no tangible benefit. I also dislike that promised coverage was not upheld, and the process to return and repair items was not straightforward. Overall, my experience has been negative, and I would not recommend Extend based on this service.

There is absolutely nothing about Extend that I like, nothing at all. They do not care about customers at all.

Everything. Absolutely everything. They are terrible to deal with and do not want to help when you call. And asking for a supervisor is no better. I was treated horribly.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

Extend Shipping and Product Protection allows Felix Gray to add further value for our customers. Extend is a crucial part of our efforts to deliver a best-in-class digital experience that drives customer lifetime value and increases brand loyalty. Shipping protection is a value-added service that provides protection for replacement when customers’ packages are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Similar to Product Protection, it turns a customer pain point into a positive brand interaction.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

No downsides! Extend is easy to opt into and filing a claim is seamless with their chatbot and/or customer support team via phone call and email. I highly recommend merchants to evaluate adding Extend to their offerings to protect customer purchases!

**What problems is Extend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Extend ADH Protection Plan begins at the time the customer purchases the product and lasts for the duration of the term it was purchased for. The ADH plan covers damage caused by accidents such as drops, breaks, and spills. Extend provides you peace of mind and financial protection should there be a product failure or accidental damage. The Extend ACH protection plan provides accident coverage, replacements, malfunctions, and a $0 deductible.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

Extend did a lot of the prep work on finding manufacturer warranty information. They sent us a short list of brands they could not find information about. They were easy to install on our BigCommerce store. They provided resources and training for us. Their support team quickly answered issues. After products are in their system, it is easy to remove warranty offerings.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

I have not used another service and only helped set up. Besides BigCommerce, we also used Brightpearl as our ROS. Since the SKUs are not static, we cannot easily track orders like warranties. Besides that, we have had only small issues that happen to orders.

**What problems is Extend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our industry, equipment may barely make it past the manufacturer's warranty. Extend allow us to give our customer better peace of mind about buying expensive coffee equipment.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

Extend seems to be a product that our customers know, recognize, and add to their cart when they decide to invest in one of our products. Working with Kate and the team has been one of the easiest and most communicative processes I've had with a vendor.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

The only downside we've faced is some minor complications with SKU #s/ refurb units but our rep Kate was on top of it, put us in touch with the right engineers to figure it out.

**What problems is Extend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customers are wary of buying our product because of the high price point and highly technical nature. Many of them want to build businesses with the product as their main investment/tool to start - so having the option of Extend warranties makes customers more comfortable completing their order, knowing they'll be covered for years to come.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

It's a no-brainer, better security for consumer purchases. Also, it's a new revenue stream with no risk. The revenue is split between the vendor and brand implementing the solution.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

It can be challenging to implement with headless commerce. This is really true with any vendor/solutions implemented. Development is required to work with the front-end. Also, you should be sure when using a warranty vendor. Switching down the line could be a poor experience with consumers trying to redeem the warranty.

New revenue and better peace of mind with consumers buying product online. The warranty is a no brainer for consumers looking to minimize risk with quality or damage to a product.

There is nothing to dislike! I will say we haven't reached the one year mark when any of these extended warranties would start kicking in.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

We've been using Extend for a while now. It's simple, intuitive, and convenient. The onboarding was great, we were looked after during the whole process and they made specific amendments as requested.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

Their customer service can be slow, and we requested for some changes to the wording of claims as they didn't make sense for our products (they weren't applicable). They said there was nothing they could do.

They offer our customers extended warranty for accidental damage or manufacturers defects outside of the given warranty. It's a great upsell and it provides peace of mind to our customers.

The claims process is straightforward, quick, and simple. There is no fine print and Extend genuinely cares about getting the customer into a replacement as easily as possible.

Nothing to dislike. Visited their website early on for more information about their protection plans and found it easy to navigate, making the claims process very simple if it is ever needed.

The onboarding team at Extend was terrific to deal with. They made the process very fast and easy to get set up. Two states require a certificate to sell protection plans and Extend reimbursed us for those applications. It was a great experience overall. The additional income is making a big difference in our profitability.

Some of our big ticket items are not eligible currently for protection plans due to the size and installation complexity, however, they are currently working on a solution for this which includes setting up a repair network!

We wanted a way to help increase the profitability of the store. The margins with Extend are great and help the AOV (Average Order Value) quite a bit and it has slightly helped the conversion rates.

The extend team is knowledgeable and easy to work with. They are very responsive and address issues quickly to have a positive resolution.  Our onboarding was complex due to the ERP we use and the integration required with our website.

What I didn't liek was that we were offered several plans to offer to our custoemrs at first. But latter when we were about to go live that offering was reduced and we could only offer a fraction of the plans intitially presented to us. But that was ok and still worked out well.

Yes if you are looking for an additonal revenue stream and offer your customers additional protection and value using Extend is the way to go.

Everyone on the Extend team has been super accomodating, in terms of explanation of their service, adjusting to our available times for calls, and patience for the delays on our side. They're very accessible for questions at any time. One of the better experiences I've had with a vendor so far.

Customers have an option to buy extended warranty coverage, so we are less likely to receive warranty claims due to wear and tear types of issues. The customers know that they could have opted to buy an extended warranty, and if they did not buy it, they will be less likely to come to us 9 months after their purchase, saying that they want a replacement.

We really wish more customers would buy the extended warranty option.

The Extend program works with our BigCommerce website. We have been happy with the results thus far.

Can't think of anything. So far everything works fine.

Less customer dissatisfaction about having to pay for repairs after the 1-year standard warranty.

Benefited from the additional profit without incurring a single cent of incremental advertising cost. In other words, this just increases the average order size and average revenue per click, without having to increase my advertising cost per click.

**What do you like best about Extend?**

The onboarding process with Extend was easy for our dev team. Since implementation, Extend has been receptive to our feedback and has been willing to work with us on our requests and ideas for optimization. Our open line of communication and quarterly reviews help keep us aligned. Operationally speaking, we have not had any customer issues since implementation.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

Our customer-facing pricing started higher than our competitors and took a few iterations and concessions to bring it down. Unsure if this is the same for sellers in other industries, but as a smaller vendor, our competitors' warranty pricing beat ours with Extend in most instances.

Extend has been easy to work with to improve the offering, but we are still working on ramping up the program to the anticipated results and identifying the best way to balance extended warranties with other checkout features.

Extend is helping us improve our competitive position in our industry by offering a top-of-the-line warranty product. It's a commonplace offering in the electronics industry, and we were the oddball out without Extend. The profit-share agreement is a win-win, and Extend handles all the heavy lifting for us.

Extend doesn't significantly impact load speed on the website, which is great. The support and success teams are responsive and we were up and running in just a few days. So far, claims have been seamlesss as well.

It's not so easy to get custom orders going. It involves a whole bunch of technical stuff, it would be much better if we could just link online orders with customers and create orders in the merchant portal.

Definitely go for it, it's a great solution that doesn't add any cost.

It's easy to offer accidental damage protection to customers, and this way we can separate our manufacturer's warranty for issues in craftsmanship with accidental damage issues.

We had seriously considered some of the more custom options on the market, even spinning up an additional protection coverage program ourselves. All of that fell short of Extend's competitive rates and other value adds.

**What do you dislike about Extend?**

One dislike I've had is how I, the brand, have no control over creative content in the popup. Extend prefers to utilize image assets that they've seen proven success, but the images are not mine, and therefore are not related to my brand (just to my category).

I'd say that we're bridging the fear gap that comes with customers who are purchasing an expensive item from my store. That fear is quelled by the additional layer of protection.

My favorite thing about extend is how easy it is to use. There's virtually nothing that needs to be done on our end and it just works like it was advertised. The team is very responsive and helpful.

There's really not anything that I dislike about extend. The only negative is that the team is required to make most changes to the setup which takes a bit of extra time than just doing it ourselves.

**Recommendations to others considering Extend:**

I'd highly recommend using Extend. There really is no downside. You're offering more to your customers while also adding more to your bottom line, all without really having to do much work.

Some of our products only have a 1-year warranty and customers use and abuse a lot of our items. Extend helps us extend that warranty and give them piece of mind that if they lose or break their purchase they will be covered for a longer period of time.   Our customers love the option to be able to extend their warranty coverage.

It's a value-added service that helps customers looking for a great deal.  Some customers know that they are purchasing something they intend to keep for years; warranties ensure that they are making a great investment.

The integration requires some customization, but it is not a deal-breaker. It's expected to see this kind of customization required to get it working on a Magento site

Some manufacturers may not be as responsive as some customers would like them to be. By getting an extended warranty, customers can cut out the manufacturer from the equation and work with Extend directly—who is much more responsive than any other manufacturer

I wish they offered the ability to pay for bills with a card, it would make that process a lot easier and flexible for how we would prefer to pay.

What we liked best about extend is the integration process. Unlike many other product warranty applications and companies, Extend takes the time to work with store owners and develop something unique rather than a cookie cutter solution.

The only downside of Extend ties in with the greatest thing. Getting a custom app built takes time. However, you can't rush greatness! After a short wait, you're left with a beautifully integrated that runs much quicker than their competitors.

Honestly, it's been great overall. Wish they had coverage for more of our catalog, but that's a very difficult thing to do because we have 500,000 products. Overall, great service!

The netsuite upsell integration is hard for sales reps to use and doesn't prompt them at the correct moment.
The after-sale warranty upsell doesn't exist at all, this isn't something that was made clear to us at the time we committed.
