Ease of use. Even the less tech savvy people at our firm have been able to be taught rather quickly how to review and run productions. Cloud capabilities. Being able to log in from everywhere is great. Especially during the current situation (Covid-19) it is extremely important for us to all continue to be able to work effectively from home, and Everlaw makes it easy. Being able to upload/download/review documents from anywhere keeps our office running smoothly, even when our physical office is shut down. Search features. I find it easy to build searches that help me narrow down the documents to just those relevant to what I am looking for. Tech support. Any time I have any questions I just send a quick email to their support team and 99% of the time I get a response within an hour. Their support staff is very knowledgeable and has helped walk me through many issues I've had.
Update: Two years later and I still love Everlaw. They are constantly rolling out new features that make my job easier. The clustering feature is great for finding documents with similar themes or content. The Language feature is extremely helpful as we get a lot of documents in Spanish. Everlaw support is also still fantastic and always gets back to me promptly.
Another update: We were early adopters of Everlaw and have now been using it for 5 years. I love Everlaw because it makes my job as an e-discovery specialist and paralegal easier. Everlaw is a one stop shop. I can review documents, create timelines and outlines using those documents, run document productions, view or listen to audio or video files, prepare search term reports on 100s of .pst files at once, review deposition transcripts, all within one platform. Prior to having Everlaw these jobs would have been scattered across different programs. Being able to do everything within one space makes my job easier, and makes me better at my job. No ability to print multiple documents at once is probably my biggest annoyance. I build a lot of binders within Everlaw for our attorneys to review or to be used for deposition exhibits or HOT DOCS binders. It would be great if there was an option to print the entire binder directly from Everlaw instead of having to export it and then print it. It is a minor annoyance, but with a product so great I have to knit pick to come up with dislikes. Overall I am very happy with our firm's experience since switching to Everlaw.
Update: Two years later. I would say my biggest "I wish" for Everlaw would be the ability to set up automatic review assignment reminders for users. So I could set something that would monthly send out reminders to the users of the status of any reviews that have been assigned to them that they have not completed. Doing this manually can be a pain.
Another update: Still wishing there was a way to set up review assignment reminders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing I like the most about Everlaw is all of the things it can do, especially when it comes to coding, and making document productions. It can take almost any file type, and there was a problem I ran into once where it wouldn't take the load file type and they went and converted it and uploaded it for me. The Everlaw staff is also very helpful and quick in their responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only downside is sometimes I don't know how to use certain features, I wish the help pages were a little more helpful. But nonethless the Everlaw staff is always there for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All of your case documents are organized in user friendly folders or buckets. There are a number of search options. Depending on specific case needs, you can keep usage basic or add bells and whistles to easily place your hands on the needed documents in response to discovery and for trial. Everlaw also comes with lots of help; you can easily reach someone to answer questions and provide further insight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are so many tools, it's taking me some time to learn them all. And they are constantly coming out with new bells and whistles; I'm not sure how I will be able to keep up! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The speed with which I can process discovery and run productions, and the ease I can on-board new users and teach them how to use Everlaw. Everlaw is designed to be used by new users and power users alike. I absolutely love the knowledgeable customer support reps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am hard pressed to find anything I dislike about Everlaw. Perhaps csv overlays could be made easier and less confusing by merging metadata and user-editable fields into a single type. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being able to highlight and add notes within documents has been really useful when reviewing voluminous files. I've been able to quickly read previous notes when I log back in to continue my review.
The code feature has been useful to group documents in a way that helps navigate and locate files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to be able to extract specific pages from documents within Everlaw. I've encountered that for example I only need 3 pages out of a 25 page document and I can't simply take those out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the processes are easy to manage. Uploading is easy, searching is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how the data field meta data is managed. If you scan a documement it gives it an edit date of the scanned date. However, it could be a letter dated years prior. The date field works well for emails. But for things like correspondence (letters), memoranda or agreements it does not work so well. It would be ideal if you could use an OCR feature to pull the actual date of those documents into a field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it helps the ediscovery process move along much quicker. One of my favorite features when reviewing emails is that Everlaw shows the email chain and which parts of the chain are inclusive of that specific email that is being viewed. I also love the coding and temperature features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The hardest thing about Everlaw is learning it. They have a great database and learning center with great real time support, but there is just so much to know. I find that leanring while I am going is the best method for me, but I feel like there are always more features that I don't know about which could help streamline my process even more. What makes Everlaw an outstanding product is the clean interface and the exceptional customer support. I am still learning about the numerous features, but I know I will develop my skills over time and continue to appreciate all the Everlaw platform offers to legal professionals. So far, I have found the product easy to use, and when I need guidance and reach out to support, they are responsive, professional, and entirely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While there are plenty of excellent educational materials available to the user online, I would love to have a book or guide I could print out and read "on the go" when I don't have access to technology. It would be helpful to read and learn about all the features and build on my knowledge as I go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You don't have to image your natives or OCR redactions. Storybuilder is a really nice add-on with no user fees. The tech support is very responsive, patient, and very friendly. Seems slightly easier to use/learn than Relativity but haven't run a production yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm still trying to get used to searching in Everlaw and don't like that there's not as many conditions to search by (e.g., is like, begins with, is less than, etc). I don't know, or haven't figured out how, to create different coding layouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everlaw is fast, intuitive, and simple to use but deceptively feature-rich. It has built in media transcription and playback, language tools/machine translation, and great analytics visualizations. Its predictive coding features are extremely capable and do not require a team of data scientists to use correctly. Also, you will not experience any of the document-to-document lag time that you see with Relativity. The new AI features are well thought out and useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Storybuilder fact management, chronology and outline functionality is useful but could use more transcript-specific features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Feeling in control of your data investigation is a big deal. The added confidence that Everlaw provides when trying to assess what type of data you have, how many custodians, popular time periods, or analyze conversations and keywords is powerful. When you have a large dataset to churn through without a lot of time or resources, Everlaw comes in clutch. Document review is easier and faster than other systems we've used on case teams by far. Customer serivce is also the absolutely best! They're so responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because there is a lot of customization and options for the same thing, it can get a bit overhwelming to learn all of the places to complete a task in the beginning. It can also be a bit overwhelming to keep up with the regualr updates. These are good problems though because it does offer the user multiple options to fit their needs.
