Being able to set up the platform to suit your award ceremony/event is fantastic. Building multiple rounds and stages is a simple setup. The ability to set up automated emails is very useful for reminders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A few minor missing features. For example, no way to import judges. Instead, each judge has to be set up manually, which can be time-consuming and no way for a judge to reset their own password, they have to contact the organiser. The layout of Evaltao is great but could do with a bit of a refresh to make it a bit more modern and interactive, especially when creating submission forms.

The analytics/reporting feature is also very basic and could do with a more in-depth way of analysing nominations. Currently, all users can access everything on the platform. It would be useful if you could set permissions. It would be good to have the ability to upload video instructions instead of text only which would be a nice way to great people once they register, or for judges when they first log in. Challenging on backside to assign judges. We had 1 entry above 100 and had to pay $1,000 (euros) more to upgrade the software. Another option should be if you only need to increase the draft submissions by a few. We’ve been using Evalato to organize large events with a significant number of participants. Evalato has been of great help with the process of setting-up and managing thousands of entry forms.

Getting started with Evalato was astonishingly easy. Their video tutorials are extremely useful and easy to understand. We were pleasantly surprised to see how easy it is to create and customize entry forms. The platform allows you to customize entry forms as best fit for the purposes of your event and makes managing thousands of applications, as well as doing post-event analysis seem like child’s play. It’s the greatest time-saver we’ve used so far!

The platform is very user-friendly for all parties involved. To us as organizers, it’s important to create the most comfortable experience possible and since we’ve started using Evalato we’ve had nothing but positive feedback from all categories of participants in our events.
