What do you like best about Esri ArcGIS?

What do you like best about Esri ArcGIS?

The best thing is by far arcgis online, and the most amazing thing about it is the possibility to create your own geo applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Maybe the only thing that I dislike is the complexity of use, you definitely need to be specialized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Esri ArcGIS?

Easy to digitize and capture from raster images. Editing tools are easy to use and locate. It has a vast majority of different tool sets for different jobs. For example geo-referencing, creating fishnets for map book production. This software was easier to use than GIS smallworld, CADCorp or QGIS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Esri ArcGIS?

There are too many licences in the desktop version. I believe some tools should be free such as creating points from a line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Esri ArcGIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Geo-referencing old plans. exporting tables to spreadsheet. Custom tools to enable custom commands. Good integration with VB.net and python. Not a big fan of ArcGIS pro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
