"Eppo is intuitive, easy to use and has unlocked self-serve experimentation analytics at TuneIn"
What do you like best about Eppo?

We previously used a home-grown tool for experiment analytics, but we found it somewhat brittle and often needed additional maintenance and support for configuring other metrics.

- Eppo made it easy to set up a collection of metrics that can be used across experiments.

- Handles all the statistics and is very robust, which led to increased trust and confidence in the experiment results

- Easy to use UX -- Made experiment analytics much more self-serve within TuneIn.

- Easy to filter and analyze by various dimensions.

- Periodic feature updates! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eppo?

- Facts and metrics can become challenging to manage once you have a lot of them. It would also be nice to have them version controlled.

- Some reporting around the status of Daily runs in the UI can be good.

- Can take up substantial resources in the warehouse, especially when you have a lot of dimensions. Maybe an option to select / de-select dimensions could be helpful?

- Occasional minor bugs but the Eppo team have been responsive and fixed issues as soon as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Eppo helps ClickUp rapidly scale product experimentation"
What do you like best about Eppo?

I love the ability to run warehouse native experimentation using Eppo, it is easy to set up experiments in Eppo up with the right data models and their statistical rigor helps us be on top of the best experimentation practices. I specifically love the ability to define warehouse native metrics and business-specific entities. I think this tool is a must-have in any experimentation team' stack Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eppo?

The current areas of opportunity for Eppo are around providing more in-app content to non-technical audience while interpreting their results, and would love to see a more customizable notification system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Eppo is our one stop solution for all things experimentation"
What do you like best about Eppo?

Eppo has put all we need to run our experiments in a single location. Their approach to experimentation is exactly what I was looking for, and had a great balance of statistical appaoches I was familliar with and cutting edge techinques. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eppo?

Eppo is still new in the game, and while I love their existing appraoches to analyzing experiments there are a ton of other methods I'm still waiting for them to implement. I'm sure they'll get there soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Eppo makes standardizing and scaling an experimentation program easy & fast"
What do you like best about Eppo?

My favorite aspect of Eppo is the integration with existing data models in our native warehouse. The metrics defined for existing ongoing reporting are the same as those we measure and report on in Eppo. No need to configure new SQL or build new events.

Eppo has made experiment setup, management, analysis, reporting and sharing of results so much quicker and easier than it ever was in the past. We have been able to scale the number of experiments we run, drastically reduce setup and analysis time, and increase the reliability of results, all while reducing the burden on our data teams. Our data scientists are now able to spend more time on other projects that help drive our business forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eppo?

I do wish that Eppo had a few features that don't exist today.

1. Automated alerting in slack/email/other paging systems when an experiment reaches a milestone or an issue is discovered.

2. Integration with the in-Eppo definition of facts & measures/metrics with our in-house dbt project. Everything defined in Eppo is outside of existing version-controlled systems, which leaves it vulnerable to becoming out-of-sync, and inhibits transparency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Save 0.5 - 1 full-time analyst salary per year"
What do you like best about Eppo?

Eppo streamlines experimentation and allows us to self-serve high-level experiment analysis. It makes our analysts more effective by reducing the upfront work they must do to set up every experiment. Their built-in sample size calculator considers several statistical factors, resulting in more accurate estimates for experiment run times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eppo?

So far, Eppo has been great. We haven't found many downsides. Any platform that offers to automate an aspect of the experimentation process, tradeoffs can appear when experiments become very bespoke or complex. The Eppo team has been open and responsive to our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I would highly recommend Eppo to anyone who is serious about working with experimentation"
What do you like best about Eppo?

Eppo cover all the needs that you traditionally would have a data scientist do during the experimentation process. Easy to understand, use and with wonderful support from the team at Eppo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eppo?

The only negative I have to say about Eppo is minor UI/UX details, however small fixes are continously released and do not affect the daily work in any major way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent tool to manage resources efficiently."
What do you like best about Eppo?

It functions similarly to an LDAP server, managing all users, roles, and permissions and acting as a role definer. It contains a metadata store that allows for the establishment of roles and users. This is quite handy for managing and regulating huge numbers of definitions. One of the most important factors is having the correct repository and being willing to schedule jobs. Eppo provides us with server access, resource access limits, and the ability to manage metadata items via numerous tabs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eppo?

To utilize this technology, resources must have appropriate data management capabilities. One of the issues I have with Eppo is that data produced on it cannot be accessible by other programs. Other from that, there isn't much to dislike because it is highly informative and adequate instructions are also accessible. Nonetheless, if you have to select something, the Interface may benefit from a refresh. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Eppo is a huge time-saver!"
What do you like best about Eppo?

Eppo vastly simplifies experiment setup and monitoring, which has created massive time savings in my role as a Data Scientist. Eppo also provides excellent visibility to all stakeholders, with statistical guardrails in place to protect against poor interpretations of experiment progress or results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eppo?

You have to be thoughtful about data modeling and ingestion in order to unlock Eppo's full capabilities. This requires back-end work that is not immediately apparent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and easy to use experimentation platform"
What do you like best about Eppo?

I really like using eppo because I trully feel like I could leverage the power of a statistical engine without any formal statiscal training.

However, the best part has been connecting with the Eppo-team who have been so helpful in every aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eppo?

As a person with limited stats knowledge and experience from other platforms, the heiriarchy of enntities (facts, definitions and metrics) were a bit confusing in the beginning.

Most likely a reflection of me rather than Eppo as a platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
