This was our first effort in this area. Covid changed how we delivered, from an in-person event, to the need for a virtual platform. Engagez met that need. We had the support we needed, and the event, both first and second year, were successful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While not a 'dislike,' being new to this kind of technology, it would have benefitted our agency, to better understand all of the features and capabilities of the platform and services we procured. We had excellent support and got all we needed, but the experience and knowledge we lacked, may have hindered 'all' that we could offer. It was up to us to learn and ask. Again, not a negative, just observations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I looked at lots of platforms, and the keys for me were: brand-ability, ease-of-use/flexibility (don't need professional services), ability to monetize an event (ROI/efficient cost), and how much it could integrate with all of our back-end tech (CRM, Registration database, etc.) We selected Engagez after reviewing several platforms. As a B2B Enterprise Event Organizer - it was an obvious choice. Their platform allowed us to have our regular marketing folks do all of the set-up, and empower our sponsors to build their own virtual exhibit booths with minimal help. I'd like to see a more "sleek" User Interface (UI). Some attendees complained they needed to refresh their Web Browser (best to use Chrome, but it worked well on others). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used Engagez to host an annual symposium that, for 44 years, had been done in person. The pandemic forced us to think virtual. Engagez allowed me to customize the venue with things we would have never imagined possible in a virtual space. The ability to create unique sponsor packages and booth experiences elevated my event from other similar virtual conferences that could not offer as much to their sponsors in terms of visibility and networking. I also appreciated how easy it was to include pre-recorded and live sessions for my event. Both could be offered in the On Demand format, allowing many of my attendees to see every session and receive the professional CEUs they needed.
Engagez is a genuinely dynamic platform that offers customization and innovation that I could not find with other platforms, they were a perfect fit for my event that hosted over 800 behavioral health professionals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to quickly provide session CEUs was a struggle. It would have been good to have a built-in survey feature that I could have had within each session for attendees to complete their survey and easily download their CEU after each session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The name is fitting, as not only were the participants engaged, the staff we worked with were. They were extremely attentive and detail-oriented, and allowed us to put on our event with way less stress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that Engagez made tutorials we could share with our participants. They might exist and I am unaware of it, but that would have been helpful, especially for our population we serve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great people to work with at Engagez for our annual Conference on Aging and TIPS Training. Easy to work with and very knowledgeable and also very patient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing I disliked, as I mentioned they were very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We used Engagez platform for a webinar series and found it very easy to use and also lots of great features that many others don't have. It allowed us to do a real professional job with great branding and engagement options. Best conversion of a webinar series we've had so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that we disliked. it worked almost perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use, with power-packed features and integrations, has allowed us to deliver distinguishing user experiences for various use cases. It is far simpler to operate and deploy compared to other platforms that we have worked with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wish we could have more templates and free designs available for us to use. there isn't much to dislike about the solution, some advanced feature adds requests from the support forum would be exciting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Engagez platform is packed with features and incredibly flexible. From the registration and ticketing process to the event hosting (with chat areas, forum features, leaderboard/gamification, resource management, and item tagging) through to the comprehensive event analytics - Engagez has everything you need to host a superior event! We tested other self-service options and compared pricing with managed event platforms. Engagez's platform enables us to create our own event environment and save the cost of a managed platform. We also know they are there to help us if we need it - their support is superior. We not only host our own events on the Engagez platform - we also implement events for customers. Although this is a desirable feature for us, some folks may not want to learn the platform and configure their own event. For those folks, I know Engagez offers onboarding and implementation packages for an added fee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find the platform very flexible for our clients in presenting their events, be they technically focused, with mostly pre-recorded presentations or more interactive with live sessions, keynotes, and panels. Also, the flexibility in Sponsor booths is helpful for our organizers. We have also found that the technical support provided by Engagez is very responsive and collaborative with our team. The layout of the various menu functions (Sessions, Social Lounge, Sponsor Booths, etc.) could use some modernization and/or "jazzing up". By this, I mean that presenting the menu as boxes or stacked items across the top or side seems a little boring. Not sure how it could be changed, but I would appreciate some ingenuity. The event attendee customer experience with the venue. The leader board that tracks attendee activity and awards points for interaction in the event. Ability to interact with other attendees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We had great difficulty with running the video streaming services. Each video started with our person running the streaming service telling the speaker and room monitor to begin. So the venue didn't properly inform us when the recording actually started. The volume got turned up on the streaming service, after being muted all morning, which caused echoing for the person running the streaming and took some time to determine that was the problem.
