What do you like best about Emburse Expense Enterprise (formerly Chrome River Expense)?
I love that Chrome River takes the paper shuffle of our expense reimbursement process out of the equation. It's completely electronic from start to finish. Approvals flow through e-mail and are super-easy (just click the green "Accept" button!) for our attorneys and staff. This has ultimately shortened the time from expense report entry to reimbursement, resulting in happier employees.
Also, automated routing ensures that all appropriate approvals for the particular expense amount or type are obtained. It's a very sleek, sophisticated, yet simple to use system. I would recommend it to any organization looking to improve their expense reimbursement experience!
Chrome River offers regular regional meetings to update their customers of new features, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Emburse Expense Enterprise (formerly Chrome River Expense)?
Reporting is not the greatest. We don't use it a lot, but sometimes feels a bit "clunky" when we use the predefined reports (sometimes the reporting module simply doesn't open and you have to try again later). Ad hoc reports seem confusing to set up, without taking a lot of time learning how to use them. This is not a huge hindrance for us, though.
Update: Chrome River has made great strides in reporting capabilities. Unfortunately, the really "meaty" reports are only available at an additional monthly cost. However, I do find I can usually easily create the reports I need to meet my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Emburse Invoice Enterprise?
Automated approval routing and completely paperless. Also love the e-invoice feature for invoices with many lines to allocate. Capture is also new for us - with this service, our vendors can e-mail their invoices to our dedicated Chrome River Capture e-mail address where the invoices are automatically uploaded and OCR'd (and reviewed by a "human") which minimizes our data entry. What do you dislike about Emburse Invoice Enterprise?
Service desk tends to be slow. What used to take 1 week or less now takes 2 to 3 weeks minimum. OCR still needs a lot of improvement. I am getting a bit impatient because of how long it is taking for Emburse to improve OCR. Additionally, customers are encouraged to pay for service that used to be standard with their subscription. App does not always pull in the names when i do the find feature even though i have entered the persons name multiple times in the past.
