What do you like best about Eleo?

Customer support via phone is great - the staff is quick to respond, and always gets back to us asap with an answer. When we come up with a need that they aren't currently providing a solution for, they take it to their team to try to figure out how they can provide a solution for us. They are also honest - when they can't do something, they tell us. That is important to me - I would rather an honest answer that I don't like over a "we can do anything" answer that isn't true! What do you dislike about Eleo?

We have had a need for a few changes to reports & labels. Some of the reports that we need to provide to our board of directors are not doable, meaning that staff must do those reports manually. However, overall, the software has helped us, and saves us time, so having to do 1 or 2 reports manually isn't the end of the world! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Eleo has been great for us - it can grow with us, and the price is very reasonable, so as a small non-profit (12 employees), it is something we can afford. What do you like best about Eleo?

It's a very straightforward application, the interface it not fancy, it's here to collect your data and have some functionality that is needed when reporting on donors, tracking campaigns, and other standard fundraising activities. What do you dislike about Eleo?

Unless a person is fairly comfortable with technology, and you better be patient figuring out how the reports work, it's not the most user friendly interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Eleo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Eleo is affordable for a small non-profit, and it's not creating problems in our budget. We are able to track our donors, generate thank yous, and categorize contributions for specific campaigns and funds. What do you like best about Eleo?

I really like the customizable dashboard and the neat and organized Graphical User Interface (GUI.) It has a comprehensive set of modules for donations, constituents, and memberships. There are a great deal of reports for every need, organized by module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eleo?

One thing that has been hard for us is that the membership doesn't fully link with the constituent module, so when a membership has expired or is not being renewed, you have to go into the constituent module separately and mark that constituent as inactive. And in the reverse situation, if a constituent is marked as deceased, you have to go into the membership module and change their membership. It's frustrating for our nonprofit when a group of memberships expires, we have to go into each constituent and mark them as inactive so that they don't show as active. What problems is Eleo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Eleo has been a huge benefit to us as we used to try to do it all in Excel. Now we can run a series of canned reports, or create our own custom reports to keep track of gifts, memberships, and constituents. It also lets us see who our major donors are, and watch trends over time. Before, every time a member renewed the old expiration date was overwritten. What do you like best about Eleo?

I love the volunteer role functionality, and how I can integrate it with a web form! This saves so much time for us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eleo?

The flexibility is a little limited, we'd really like to be able to customize titles for the default fields, but unfortunately this isn't possible. Also, setting up the web form could be a bit cleaner and more intuitive, my experience with it so far is that it's very doable, but can be a little clunky, and lacks features like skip logic, which we would love to be able to use. What problems is Eleo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had been doing all our volunteer scheduling manually-- emailing with volunteers, manually compiling their availability, and plugging them into schedules-- now, I send out a web form, and then have the system run a report with the volunteers that are available on a specific date and the roles that they perform! What do you like best about Eleo?

Eleo allows for a lot of customization and provides you with the tools needed to get everything set up correctly and in a timely manner. What do you dislike about Eleo?

I wish when using the donation web form and sending the automatic email that it would mark the donors thank you message as being sent. I have reached out to Eleo support and this is something they are working on for a future upgrade, so I don't foresee this being a problem for much longer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eleo?

I've just started using ELEO in the past couple of months, and it was an invaluable tool in preparing for our #GivingTuesday and end-of-year fundraising efforts. The interface is clear and easy to use. I like that I can use different search criteria, such as searching for specific contacts, or searching by campaign. I also appreciated the merge contacts feature when I initially did some "cleaning up"of our database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eleo?

So far, I haven't found any major issues with ELEO. The only small snag is that I'm not sure how to enter Canadian or International addresses, as the fields required are set up for US mailing addresses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eleo?

My favorite thing about Eleo is their customer service. They are always so friendly and helpful every single time I call with a problem, and they are always very quick to find a solution or give me an answer. We only launched our non-profit a little while ago, and Eleo has been very helpful in getting not only a database for all of our donors and sponors, but also in managing monthly donor subscriptions, fundraiser events, newsletters, and more. What do you like best about Eleo?

We sent a significant among of time organizationally researching different database management systems, as our first experience with donor software. ELEO immediately stood out to use in its ease of use and superior customer support. Every time we have had a question, a member of the ELEO team has been able to answer it in a timely manner to help us get our data uploaded and learn the new system. They helped us with uploading our data and were able to customize our fields to meet our organization's needs. The process could not have been easier. We are thrilled that we selected ELEO. While other database systems requried expensive onboarding fees and training, ELEO was more than willing to work with us without adding extra costs for education and support.
