What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Having an all-in-one LMS and authoring tool is very desirable. I especially like how easy it is to author a course. Having a course library is very helpful too. It is editable and growing all the time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

One of the downsides of EdApp is that there is not currently a better structure for adding individual users to courses as needed. As an admin, I want my "Manager Analytics" users to be able to register their users into courses as they wish. As an admin, I am not able to register individuals into courses. I am required to register based only on user groups. This is annoying quite frankly. It seems very restrictive.

What would be a great solution to this, is having a course library that is searchable by a user. Then that user can choose to register their self into the course as they wish. I do not want to make my courses universally available, but at the same time, the manager who has that access, should be able to register their employee without having to go through me (the admin). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

EdApp is solving several problems for my company, which are listed below.

1. Streamlining our company's training into one all-inclusive platform.

2. Offering an easy-to-use authoring tool eliminates the need for designers who are previously trained in ID software (or having to spend a lot of time training someone in ID Authoring).

3. Tracking completions and reporting options with availability to review by managers in sites (rather than always coming to me for these records).

This option has brought our company's classroom efforts into the 21st century. Our employees are much more engaged in the classroom training process, and they are getting through the content easier (and faster) than with site-based trainers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

The best thing about EdApp is that it is free. They also have a course library that you can import from and almost all courses are editable. We have been using EdApp for over a year now and have not paid a dime, yet it is a highly functional, intuitive, seamless, and reliable LMS service. It also has great analytics tracking, making compliance a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Some things are not in the free plan. Which is OK, because I enjoy making the modules from scratch if I cannot find the content in their course library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Previously, we had been tracking trainings on Excel and conducting them via PowerPoint in Teams meetings. This was a non-self-paced method with poor tracking capabilities and no way to check for comprehension. EdApp has solved all of those headaches. Their support is also amazing and responds rapidly and effectively. One time, I had a font issue and needed an outline around white lettering. Their support crafted code for me to put in the modules that added this outline to all the text! And we are on the free plan! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

It is extremely easy to create courses, particularly now with the AI features. The templates offer variety, but it is not overwelcoming. Our learners love the visuals and modern feel of the mobile app. Overwhelmingly - it is is easy to use and impactful for learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

There are a few tricks to link to outside resources. You also must be very sharp about any video content because the size requirements are strict. We have made this work but you have to be very thoughtful in course content creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Higher education career and professional development is facing significant challenges engaging students, particularly Gen Z. There is a lot of long form content, workshops that are unstructured, and difficulty matching student schedules/needs with offerings. We are working to introduce microlearning as a solution and to collaborate to tackle this challenge, with the aim to drive better career outcomes and meaningful work for recent graduates. EdApp is one of the best tools I have used in my capacity as a Training Manager. The ease of usage is great, the support in place is fantastic, moreover,in my opinion working with these Gen Z`s has been very rewarding.

Where the teacher becomes the learner, very progresive.

The Staff listen and work with you, feedback is well recieved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We work in such a transient industry, qulaifications are becoming less relevant for many reasons, having the opportunity to refresh/ educate and set expectations for our businesess has been our focus and it is paying off.

Recently we have had Two government inspections and passed with flying colours as our staff were confident in answering questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Ease of use is superb. EdApp knows what I'm trying to accomplish before I do. There is a great starting library of learning, as well as the AI creation tool. You can personalize all three methods of learning creation. You can track students and grades easily and efficiently. This is just an absolute WOW of a learning app! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

Only downside - it is not integrated with anything, that I can see. I would love to integrate to Google Classrooms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

EdApp is helping me cover a part of the workforce that does not already have training protocol. I can create and personalize content in any of three ways, distribute to staff and track completion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

EdApp became our super convenient solution for a compliance course needed for staff. It was daunting for me to think of drafting all of the material from scratch and creating a graphically engaging course from which our employees would actually learn and retain important info. A quick google search landed me on EdApp. The website explained the product clearly and succinctly, and also made tailoring its already compliant content to our specific company easy. The courses are simple for employees to access, and I have a 100% completion rate - no chasing anyone down. The analytics make it easy to see where the areas for improvement need to be with staff. For the next round of courses, I'll start using the fun engagement incentives they offer as well. Their tech support was responsive and knowledgable - which sold me from the start. Oh, and so much can be done with this app within the free account - EdApp is generous with that! New, relevant courses are being added frequently as well. I highly recommend EdApp for your teams! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?

I don't have much to recommend for improvement, except for setting arrival dates for unreleased courses that have been advertised. For example, I received an email notification that Sexual Harrassment courses specific to your US state were coming soon. I am in need of creating a course on this topic very soon, and state specific content would be fantastic to have! Unfortunately, when I reached out to Support, they said they have no idea when it would be released - next week, month, year. No idea. So having projected dates would be helpful in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solving the problems of creating and disseminating valuable content in a convenient and compliant way. This benefits us in having a safer work environment, and learning about how to in an engaging and fun way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, I haven't come across any downside of using EdApp. It's a great tool that I can access from anywhere. I can share the information with my team and they can work on any subject on their own time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?

I recently took an in person course on a particular subject. The course, although informative, I wondered if there was more I could learn. Using EdApp, I have discovered that there is more information relevant to the subject of my interest. I will now have more knowledge to do the best job in the field.
