I was a bit disappointed that support for Indian languages font, and non-American characters, is shaky. None of the Devnagri fonts (Hindi, Bengali, Marathi etc) render correctly. Had an email exchange on this (with even the solution) but did not happen. You are missing out on a huge market possibly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Most fonts do not support special characters (Especially Arabic characters).

There is no ability to change the aspect ratio of shapes. Very useful in the case of basic shapes like rectangles, circles, etc...

Performance degrades when adding many scenes.

I want to be able to extend the extra period at the end of the scene without affecting the duration of each shape by dragging the scene end in the timeline.

Exporting the video does not support multi-cores in the CPU.

Fairly simple to navigate. I'm not very computer literate and was able to figure out how to develop scenes. Recently detailed videos were published to completely demonstrate the process. Love these. Now I'm so excited to practice those parts that I was not aware of. It is time consuming but a little bit of planning my message ahead of time will probably help. This is a great easy to use click and drag application that allows you to create high quality presentations with ease. They are also visual and light hearted so get better engagement from the audience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are No real issues I can think of, the additional bundles definitely mean you can keep your content fresh without having to always re-use old scenes or characters etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fast drag and drop nature with write on functionality. doing a write on effect in AE is easily done but very time consuming whic makes it impractical. Doodly makes the write one effect (even the custom path one) fast to add. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being an After Effects & Camtasia user, many things about Doody drive me nuts if I'm honest. The biggest annoyance (and it's a huge time waster) is that you have to watch the entire video from start to finish every time you hit the preview button. This has made me an occasional user of Doodly, as opposed to a regular user, and this major flaw would make me reticent to recommend doodly to others.

Two Preview features would have me instantly promote my score from 6 to an 8.

1) Preview from the play heads current position

The software is intuitve. I have used several of the video creation software. Doodly, EasySketch Pro, and VideoScribe. I would have to say that VideoScribe was the best interface as far as the drag and drop images. Easy Sketch Pro was the best price when I got it, but the interface was a bit clunky. I like Doodly's ability to import your own svg images and tracing patterns. It is pretty simple to import what you want they are giving out a bunch of free images all the time. The one thing that I don't love about Doodly, is that the preview of the video is often out of sync with the audio and seem a bit laggy. Usually this is just a preview issue as the rendered video is often a lot better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
