I do appreciate the scores (RFM, MLR, ACQ, PGID) that it provides to us. The screening results have been helpful.

It is frustrating that the information we get in the profiles on giving, etc. is often listed as low quality and it's up to us to determine whether or not it is applicable.

The process for loading the data into Raiser's Edge 7 (this may very well be a Raiser's Edge thing and not a Donor Search thing) took an inordinate amount of time, even when it was loaded straight through the server into RE. I also disliked that the Acquisition Score and Planned Giving scores did not have a load into RE. DonorSearch is an intuitive tool and the data we retrieve is accurate and impactful to our relationship building process with current and future donors. I use the tool on a weekly basis to support my donor research.

The customer support team at DonorSearch is proactive, efficient, and very professional. They provide on-going training and alway respond to questions in a very timely manner.

Wealth summaries are great high-level looks at donors, and it's integrated with our CRM, Giveffect, so we don't have to go back and forth between software. Navigating DonorSearch when you're learning it isn't the most user friendly, but once you spend more time with it you understand it better. DonorSearch has made it seamless to implement deep background research for our individual research and utilize broader datasets in our multichannel fundraising initiatives. The platform is easy to use and any difficulties we face are quickly responded to by a dedicated group of the DonorSearch team. DonorSearch provides great value. The cost is reasonable and the data is trustworthy and very useful in our analysis. We have used the scoring models to figure out the best way to focus our limited resources. The integration with Blackbaud RE-NXT helps keep more data in a single location. Excellent customer support, including the online tool. The interface is easy to use and there are detailed instructions and assistance through implementation. As with any tool that is based largely on names, there can be inaccuracies with common names. Some of the integration with RE-NXT is very easy but it's a bit of work to get other information into the system and requires intervention/coordation with the vendor. DonorSearch pulls information from a variety of sources to get a better picture of a current or prospective donor for our organization. It does so quickly which saves a lot of time from having to do the research manually. It also organizes the report into distinct sections such as charitable contributions, political contributions, real estate and equity listings, etc. so we can see the various markers of wealth and prior giving history of donor prospects.

We are also able to upload current donor data to conduct wealth screenings en-masse. DonorSearch additionally ranks the quality of the donors that allows us to strategize our efforts accordingly.

The integration within Raiser's Edge NXT could be improved. While it is useful in its current state, it could be perhaps more powerful with the ability to conduct queries or reports using DonorSearch data within NXT. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love all of the data that I can sync with my CRM, allowing me to filter down to the donors and prospects that should be focused on first. DonorSearch allows our gift officers to narrow their focus amongst the thousands of names in our database. Everyone I've ever worked with a DonorSearch has been great and friendly. It would be great to have some more advanced functionality with the Salesforce app. But, that might be due to limitations on the Salesforce side and not necessariliy on DonorSearch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall, DS is a great product. It integrates perfectly with Salesforce and autmatically screens new donors, and has simple processes to batch screen others. It was easy to implement/install in Salesforce. Their website is easy to use and their customer support team checks in frequently to preemptively get ahead of any issues that may arise. The main drawback that I have encountered with DS is using the DS Website as a team. As the admnistrator, all donors are screened under my account. I then have to manually 'share' those results with every other account (users) that is in my organization. We screen donors weekly at the minimum, and often times multiple times a week. This means I would have to manually share each screening with each team member. There is no option to automatically share or to bulk share. It has to be each screen with account 1 at a time.

We ultimately just all share the 'admin' account so everyone can view all the screenings without extra manual work. A minor drawback, but drawback nonetheless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy DonorSearch is to use, especially for someone who is new to the product. I appreciate the overflow of data because you can never have too much when you are prospecting donors.

Additionally, the customizable profiles on what to include/what not to include, the ability to create marketing lists, and the AI Custom Models are all great perks that make DS unique. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Like any wealth-screening platform, not all "giving capacity" or "income" or "wealth" is 100% accurate. I do appreciate that DonorSearch provides a data cheatsheet, allowing clients to understand how they source their data and where there may be gaps.
