What do you like best about Documaker?

I like the interface and the ease of designing the forms and doing the DAL scripting in the tool. When it comes to configuration file changes, you would be mesmerized by the ability of Documaker to handle the business needs. It can be used with various sources like Mainframe, Pega and xml coding is the best part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documaker?

The only thing Documaker bothers me about is the configuration file changes like fysis.ini. Not everyone can understand and do that. The person should be very much well aware of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Documaker solving and how is that benefiting you?

It can manage document generation and bar code creation. Using Documaker, we eradicated the use of the Documerge Elixir tool in our organization without impacting any business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Documaker?

This tool offers high end automation of letters, forms and other communication documents.

All that the tech team has to do is, create a blueprint of the form and then leave the dynamic data to be filled dynamically.

This saves a lot of time and effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documaker?

There is nothing that I dislike about documaker. But when working with DAL scripts for formatting, we had to run through test to ensure it is not adversely affecting any other formatting. Stay together feature was giving a bit of concern as well. Hope it is fixed now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Client was migrating from the tradition mainframe solution for documents (documerge) to documaker. It was so easy to create and maintain documents. Much easy to generate insurance forms and documents. Took very little time to perform maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Documaker?

Documaker enables many users to meet clients requirements thru online and batch processing. I have used this tool for close to 7 years and found very satisfying. Ability to create pdf output with customized layout is the most powerful feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documaker?

Tool hangs when some of the junk characters are coded in GRP/FOR files. It is tough to debug as the error message is not straighforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
