I like the ability to track the progress my team has made on audit projects. I also like the potential automation that HighBond will bring to our audit process, we are looking forward to using the Robotics application to build that automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Storyboards - Storyboard is one of the powerful functionality to entail a complete story about the business processes under review.

Metrics, Triggers and Visualizations - Trigger helps to flag critical red flags, Metrics helps to track key financial figures and a picture/graph is better than 1000 words.

GRC Results manager for publishing exceptions. Best part is tracking of exceptions closure right from publisher name, date of publish, date of close, comments from different users and attachments.

As ACL has now added functionality to download exceptions data in ACL to analyse further, it makes us more powerful in terms of analysing comments from user, time taken to close exceptions, Aging of open exceptions and many more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In order to automate one business process, we have to take help of multiple pieces of functionalities like, Reports Manager, Results Manager, Robots, Storyboards etc. There should be one single window to achieve all the above tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HighBond technology has helped to transform how employee expense, accounts payable, IT risk management, and enterprise security data is managed. We are using analytics to add value by assisting in the reviews of unusual transactions, facilitating data extraction, and improving reporting and audit rule definitions within our employee expense application. We have also developed additional invoice tests not performed by management and defined data sets from the Mainframe system for the accounts payable department. Using HighBond, we have enhanced manual reviews performed by IT risk management through automation and developed the ability to quickly provide feedback and allow timely remediation of identified issues. Assisting corporate security with investigations by analyzing data is another area where we have been able to add value. HighBond technology has given us the tools to develop sophisticated risk analytics that are more advanced than random sampling, manual spreadsheet manipulations, or business intelligence. It can be a little cumbersome to navigate. Two main challenges we overcame (and our solutions) were creating data analytics programs that were repeatable and output results in a measurable or auditable way. We created ACL script libraries to automate everything from importing data exports (Excel and PDF files) from the many different systems to sending notification emails once the analytics complete execution with a link to the shared folder containing the results. We built a graphical user interface out of the dialog function with options so anyone in the department could run the analytics without having to run individual scripts. For audit purposes, we created a risk rating method for transactions flagged by the analytics. This assigns a high, medium, or low risk rating to every flagged transaction using the average, standard deviation, and statistics functions. We added methods in the scripts to allow us to trend our analytics results over time giving management insight into performance indicators that they did not previously have. Various modules are available - internal audit, enterprise risk management, compliance and IT governance for example.

The reporting in Risk Management (heat maps etc) are a nice function.

Takes time to implement. Not all functionalities I wanted are available for example uploading current risk scores generated outside the system.

Analytics allowed out internal audit analytics function to get up and running. Analytics has been plug and play once we have connected to all of our internal and external data sources. The expression builder, and the ability to save expressions, is a huge time saver when implementing repeatable analytics. Scripting has allowed us to move to continous monitoring where applicable. Lack of autocomplete in coding areas and lack of onscreen help. When entering a formula, please let me see function parameters and examples within the expression builder, not on the help website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy building analytics in ACL that speed up the auditing process. The ACL Robotics simplifies creating automation scripts and allows us to use the scheduler to execute unattended audit tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The lack of a sophisticated tool to build eye-catching reports and poor integration with Excel are the two main things I dislike. In addition, Python should be included as part of the development suite. While ACL provides many data connectors, installing Oracle data connector is problematic. HighBond GRC allows the flexibility to adapt its product to meet our Company needs. The ability to link risk assessments to regulatory requirements to internal audit testing eliminates gaps to ensure regulatory compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HighBond GRC does not permit linking between projects. Each project documentation must stand alone. Several of our projects overlap and the ability to link between projects would improve our audit efficiency. Additionally, the number of "clicks" required to view, complete, sign-off and review a project is cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Does not have an elegant solution for selecting/downloading individual areas (start to finish control export, without exporting full sections of your file (i.e. walkthroughs for every process, not just the one you want with the accompanying testing workpapers and background details in 1 download)

- Open text box for documenting has table limits not friendly for exporting or using its advanced features (team tries to push attaching excel workpaper attachments instead)

- No auto-selection possibility with population files for business process controls
