Dialpad meeting is an excellent resource, we use it frequently for productive meetings of the organization, and it has not given us any problems; on the contrary, the geographical limitation has disappeared because we can connect from anywhere with internet access, and the audio and video quality is excellent, in addition, the meetings can be recorded. Among other things, it also allows us to share screens, windows or applications, share information with others through chat, interact dynamically and make meetings much more efficient. When many participants are connected in the session, screen updates tend to be slower, although I think this is normal and has not been a problem in our meetings; on the other hand, users who do not use Chrome or have outdated browsers may encounter audio and video problems. As of the 1st of August, Dialpad has started charging us for every single inbound call we receive. There was no notice that this change would be occurring and I have received nothing to tell me what these call rates are. Our annual expense of $720 has now blown out to about $5,000. That's a 7-times increase. Overnight with no notice. And don't try to get a response from support anymore. You won't get one. I find that using the contact centers helps me organize my different teams and identify where my calls are coming from. It allows me to enter the call more prepared knowing where the call is associated. It's beneficial in the sense that training new hires can see how and who is utilizing Dialpad and listen in on calls for training purposes. As a new user I spent a lot of time chatting with support to get solutions. The knowledge base is a great once you learn how to use it, but the search function is not the most intiuitive.
