Honestly, there is nothing to complain about. I would like to see more elements added to the library and more developers contributing to Slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slides is by far the best alone framework I've ever encountered! I was tired of the crappy looking Bootstrap sites with their less than stellar interactions, and was looking for something next level for my marketing website and my PWA (progressive web application). I didn't have the time to custom write all the CSS and Javascript, nor could I even come close to what I found with Slides. I was blown away!
To start... the CSS and Javascript in Slides are incredible. It's literally better interactivity and aesthetics than I see coming out of top tier agencies (I'm talking $500k+ for a website agencies). The must have the world's best designers working on this product, because their product has the same level of polish as Apple and Tesla. The desktop experience is bar none, and the mobile responsive is sooo good. Everything is so buttery smooth. I just can't say enough good things about the code.
It's also incredibly flexible to work with. You can easily stack custom CSS and custom Javascript on top of Slides. Part of what makes it so easy to work with is how clean the code is. It's quite literally the cleanest code I've ever worked with.
It made me a better programmer. With Slides I could visually conceptualize what I wanted to execute, and since I've always been a visual learner, Slides ability to download the raw code made it incredibly efficient at mastering new techniques.
Customer service is AMAZING. It's literally the same high end customer service as staying at a Four Seasons. The team is SO good at replying and responding promptly, and they fix any bugs that come up like ninjas!
Everyone who visits our site and app say it looks incredible, and I always have to refer them to this framework. Go Slides & Go Designmodo! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. Ramp up time took a little bit because the CSS classes take some time to get comfortable with (it's literally 15,000 lines of code), but once you spend a little time in the Google > Inspect options looking at how the CSS stacks, you will move through your custom CSS like butter and come to appreciate how much time and effort went into their framework. Each time I have reached out to Customer Support on Slides, I have promptly received useful direction from Sergey. Sergey is always providing useful code snippets to help me customize my website experience where I lack the knowledge of code to do so myself. He's even provided me with a video walkthrough on one specific instance! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Regarding Slides, I would like to see some more options for navigation hover/focus states as well as transition from desktop to mobile navigation (ie transition from ul on desktop view to hamburger/hidden nav menu on mobile view). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how Designmodo understands front-end to a tea! They have amazing style, their code is clean and very responsive. I have been using Slides4 for a month now and it is honestly one of the best online buys. It is great for even beginners because their customer service is amazing! This may seem cliche, but I can't say anything bad about this company.
The only real negative I can even think of is them not having software like Dreamweaver to produce such crisp & clean layouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a web designer every day I find more and more useful Designmodo. I just love the Slides. It has so many tools for the user to work with, that makes a lot easier for the aesthetic of the web to become what we conceive at first in our minds.
I hated even talking about designing a web, and this interface is so nice and open for new people in the area like me. It is fantastic! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think that the cost might be a little high for its simplicity. Maybe if they keep working on this project and develop some more features, the price won’t matter (at least to me). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Gorgeous UI/UX, instant implementation, WP compatibility, tons of customizations, regular updates and very responsive customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve can be a bit overwhelming for noncoders, they change the pricing system from one payment to monthly payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Designmodo eliminates the need for slow, dated programs like Microsoft publisher. It allows me to quickly create and design items or websites for whatever I need. I like the ability to create print and digital templates using the same images and colors. It literally takes 1/10 of the time of other complicated design programs. There’s very little to dislike about this program. The image library could be larger and sometimes there are glitches in saving materials, but for the most part you can’t go wrong with Designmodo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
