Top Rated DemandJump Alternatives
Pillar-based marketing is an excellent SEO strategy. The way DemandJump thinks about and defines good SEO strategy makes a lot of sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is buggy and slow and really difficult to use. When you pay this much for software, you expect it to work amazingly out of the box. You shouldn't have to know all of its "gotchas" and try to avoid them. The Looker-based dashboards are just insufferably slow. They sometimes take 10 seconds or more to load.
The data model seems to lack quality and consistency. For instance, when researching a pillar, DemandJump indicated the pillar had about 90,000 monthly searches. When I actually set the pillar as one of my two available pillars (which can't be changed), the software indicated there were in fact 2.5M monthly searches for this pillar. The lack of consistency creates some uneasiness around the veracity of their data model.
Support is intermittent. Sometimes they're right there. Other times it takes hours to get a response.
Above all, however, I was really frustrated with the way they handled my account. I accidentally signed up for a year when I had actually intended to sign up for a quarter. However, they refused to change my plan even after several emails back and forth explaining my case.
I would definitely not recommend DemandJump. Maybe in a few years once they have figured things out. For now it's too painful, too expensive, and I have concerns about its data quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The paid ads industry is frustrating. Most people don't understand SEO, or how to make it work for them. Sounds familiar? While familiar with both, I was searching for a better or a new option. When searching for alternatives for our company I came across Demand Jump. Not only is it as good as what's listed on the website, but it's also better. Our results for a brand-new company, with no marketing traction in an industry with major national competitors, were astounding. We were ranking on the first page of google for terms that those same national competitors were not. Organic traffic was the largest percentage of traffic to our website, all due to the outstanding content that was produced based on Demand Jump's software. Their software allows their teams to create content based on what your specific target audience is searching for, and it's highly effective. Their teams are wonderful to work with, very knowledgeable, and consistent. It's a fun group, who really knows how to maximize your dollars and get results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. If I ever had issues or concerns, I brought them up with the individual or team, those problems were always addressed right away and any changes that needed to be made as a result were instituted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its approach to pillar-based content and the way the platform eliminates hours of time to build a networked content strategy. Competitors give you views on this, but DemandJump delivers the whole strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has some work to do in terms of automation and flexibility of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are 2 things that DemandJump does exceptionally well: 1 - it provides deep insights on key topics that help you create a content marketing strategy to improve keyword rankings and generate more organic website traffic. 2 - it provides content outlines for any keyword you write about, so you can be sure you're writing about what searchers are actually seeking to know. In other words, DemandJump makes it really easy to pick content to write about that is relevant to your business, and helps you write it in a way that is more likely to rank on search engines.
Although our agency doesn't have any clients using the marketing attribution features, we have seen how these can provide some very powerful data to attribute lead conversions and revenue down to marketing channels and even individual keywords, which is not possible with many other tools. There are only a few things I dislike, but they're definitely not deal-breakers. 1 - DemandJump can be glitchy or buggy at times, with data not displaying or reports getting lost or not updating; however, the product and support teams are very responsive and quick to act. 2 - Sometimes the data you need to make a strategic decision is disjointed, or in separate places, so it takes some extra time to go back and forth between pages. 3 - It is a very scientific tool based on algorithms, so it takes some extra effort to "humanize" the insights and take the content outlines with a grain of salt so that you don't write duplicate content or write sections in a post that don't fit your topic very well. I don't see anyone else in this space providing the level of insight Demandjump brings to the table. Demanjump provides remarkable data points that go beyond last-touch attribution and fill in the gaps 1st party data can't support when formulating strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is almost nit-picky, but there have been shifts within the company that disrupted our teams' workflows. In all fairness, we were very upfront with this feedback, and they have responded quickly and efficiently to improve those shortcomings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have never been disappointed with the data we discover but the real work comes after we take a look.

Not exactly a dislike, but as a newbie to this type of software, I've had my share of difficulties "getting my head" around using it, but the support from DemandJump has really helped. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
