DBHAWk is without a doubt my number 1 tool for data analysis and database administration, both for its security, efficiency, and versatility. There are some of the many reasons why I choose DBHAWK over other database management tools
The compatibility presents with multiple database platforms makes it versatile, avoiding having to constantly change the database platform, drastically reducing time and accelerating all the work, really amazing.
Another positive aspect of DBHAWK is its web-based interface because everything is managed centrally, everything becomes easier and faster.
And last but not least. Its SQL editor, as well as its panels, are really good, powerful and efficient.
These are undoubtedly the main reasons why I choose DBHAWK compared to other software to manage my databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are not many things that upset me about DBHAWK, the only thing that would improve would be to overcome some web limitations. The rest are all aspects that I like about DBHAWK Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DBHAWK is an excellent tool for database management, easy to use and really versatile, with a perfect value for money.
There are some aspects that I like about DBHAWK, one of them is the great versatility that it presents. Because it is compatible with multiple database platforms, therefore, it is not necessary to switch between multiple database clients.
I can also point out that thanks to the integration of the LDAP server, users do not have to know the username and password to connect to the database. Making it really efficient and easy to use.
It should also be noted that the web-based interface is quite good. It saves a lot of time since it is managed centrally and use can be controlled more easily.
Finally, DBHAWK consists of a powerful SQL editor and panels that make it an excellent tool for data analysis and database administration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike is the web limitations, for example, that if you refresh the page there is the possibility of losing your most recent job.
Although it is the only thing I dislike about DBHAWK, the rest are aspects that make me choose it against other software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing ! It's just perfect for our requirement ! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is supporting multiple database platforms, hence we don't need to switch between several Database clients.
We can easily create snippets and share some access to the NON DBHAWK users in other departments.
It is great, that we have one platform, that can be used inside of our company as well as outside - when connected on mobile device (iPad) via VPN.
System is fast and reliable, it keeps the history of the queries, so can get back to your previous work easily.
Inbuilt scheduler, TABLE import /export provides very agile scheduled system - we have replaced our customer build application with this feature.
Dashboard is simply amazing. By couple of clicks you can create amazing GRAPHICAL presentation of your data - basically simple BI system.
READ access to the DB - as simple as 1 click - you can define a database connection as read only without actually touching the DB user itself. This is great feature which we use when granting access to the Database to the non-technical people. User access control in general is very easy in DBHawk. Saves us a lot of time.
WebBased interface is saving us a lot of time with the local application setup. Everything is managed centrally and we can easily see, which use is working on what query. The queries can be shared.
Great value for the money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
since it is web-based, there are some limitations defined by the browser - if by any accident the user press REFRESH WEBPAGE (or F5), the DBHawk gets refreshed and you may loose you recent work. Or in case you are using iPad with external keyboard, it is a bit harder to navigate through the SQL code with arrows.
We are dependent on the availability of the server.
Running a SQL PLUS code on the ORACLE database is a bit tricky, to get a spool file that is generated by the query is not really straight forward thing, but it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Been using this software for several years and appreciate ease of use and quality. Connects easily to our Oracle tables and allows us to pull in information quickly and easily. Highly recommended. Dave and Manish have been extremely helpful over the years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. It just works. I highly recommend Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
