Project tracking is great, it's easy to customize and sort. I love being able to create smart lists to track anything under the sun. I'm always discovering new features to make my job easier. I do a lot of sales tracking and connecting the dots on who we've worked with, what jobs we've won and lost, what regions we're most successful in, and Daylite is great for all of that. The mobile version is less dynamic, but it has everything I need on the go, like an easy to sort contact database so I can keep work contacts separate from my personal contacts easily.
I also love the mail app integration for organizing all my emails into contacts and projects so I can get them out of my inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simple features are missing, like having multiple 'people' or 'company' fields within a project. I'd love to be able to have a 'person' group for clients, in-house team, etc listed under each project. Luckily, Daylite team is pretty good at tracking feature requests and implementing them over time. The calendar could also use some work. You can't create a smart calendar just for 'tasks', only for appointments. You also can't create a calendar using custom dates from projects, like a due date. I've also had trouble integrated my Google calendar into Daylite, which is supposed to be a feature.
There are also definite glitches that happen weekly, causing my program to crash. Usually they roll out fixes quickly for major crashes, but it isn't the most stable program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The seamless collaboration with associates, and the ability to follow (if nessesary) all the mail dialoges between the company and its customers, leads and others. I like that you can organize everything from client contact info, names, dates, their role in the business pipeline, and attach emails. In our business we had 20 years of client data that we could draw from all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
when I had to go on the road with my laptop, sometimes it would run slowly or be difficult to get to sync with my emails since it’s such a large program. It needed a lot of assistance from IT setting up and maintaining security and backup files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
