  ### 1. Great Apple integration, but too many missing CRM features overall

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

The best thing is that it integrates really well in Apple ecosystem and with my apple mail inbox. If your entire team is on Mac, iPhones, iPads then it just works. The macOS integration feels like it actually native Apple app rather then a 3rd party app. The Apple Mail integration is also good, I can link emails to contacts and projects without directly with the Daylite mail assistant integration. Task creation is straightforward and assigning them to different team members is easy enough. So if your a small Mac-only team that just needs basic task tracking and contact management, it's okay but there are a lot of missing features to call it a proper CRM.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

Honestly, Everything! Where do I even start. The biggest dealbreaker for me honestly is theres zero automation inside the platform. I've used tools where you can build out workflows, set triggers, create flows that actually move things forward without you having to manually do every single step. Even wordpress plugins supports that and its not even a CRM. You can't build a flow, you can't set up a simple "if this then that" rule, nothing is available. Every action is manual which completely defeats the purpose of a CRM in 2024 when everything else has moved on.

On top of that, the interface feels pretty old. Doesn't feel like a modern SaaS CRM tool at all.

**What problems is Daylite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started using Daylite in the hopes that it would help me centralise client management and streamline how my team handles every projects and follow-ups. It did solve the basic problem of keeping contacts and tasks in one place. I'm able to assign tasks to team members and see whos responsible for what and that is useful. Apart from that, syncing with Apple Mail so client emails are atleast linkable to the right contact. So on a very basic level it brought some structure to how we track things.

But beyond that it hasn't really "solved" anything. I still have to manually do things that should be automated. I still have to jump between tools because Daylite just can't do everything in one place and isn't enough. The benefit is limited to organisation, not efficiency. It's basically a contacts app on steroids like airtable is spreadsheet on steroids + task management built into it.

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

I love how Daylite keeps me organized with everything in one place that is easy to access. It's great that all my emails and quotes are saved so I can refresh my memory no matter how long it has been. I also like that it keeps a copy of all my quotes, allowing me to see what I have quoted previously and if I got the order. Daylite is my primary go-to place, where I can link all my conversations and quotes to the customer file or individual person file. Additionally, I can select what and where I want things recorded. The initial setup was very easy, and their tech support is excellent at responding to questions.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

The email program has to be updated a lot, but I think most of that has to do with new software releases from Apple to their operating system. Daylite does a lot, so to get the full use of it, you will need to spend some time looking at instruction videos.

Daylite is one if not the most valuable program I use.

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

Daylite is a solid CRM tool that people love for being an all-in-one platform, combining CRM, tasks, and projects which means there's less app-hopping. It's customizable, letting you adapt it to your workflow rather than the other way around, and integrates nicely with tools like Mail and Calendar. Users also appreciate the smart suggestions from Daylite's AI that help prioritize tasks and close deals faster. The mobile app is great for staying updated and responding quickly on-the-go. **What do you like best about Daylite?**

I enjoy the way Daylite allows me to organize my clients, opportunities, and tasks. I can easily see a few different panes of my most active cases, as well as any outstanding tasks and my daily schedule, all at once and have begun to use the Daylite calendar to organize my personal events as well as work events due to its integration with Apple Mail and Calendar. Any time we have needed assistance, the Marketcircle team helps us find a solution to keep Daylite running smoothy for our firm. It is the first thing open on my computer every day, and out of all the programs and platforms we use, causes us the least grief!

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

There is very little, but it seems like there is room for improvement on the automatic tagging feature when it comes to projects, contacts, and attachments from email.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

No Sync / Integration with Office 365

Like many small businesses, we use Microsoft 365 for Identity, Collaboration, File Repository and Email Hosting. There is no integration / sync from Daylite to Office 365 Calendar or Contacts. If you or your clients use MS Teams or Outlook for for calendar management / scheduling this is a HUGE pain point and prevents one from using Microsoft Booking functionality. Especially when you or clients need to reschedule events. 

Not Compataible with MacOS Sonoma. 

At the time of writing Daylite is not compatible with MacOS Sonoma due to issues with the Daylite Mail Assistant. Also - acessing customer support from the Australian timezone can be challenging.

UI Dated

Whilst there have been some recent improvements to the iOS UI, the MacOS is feeling a a bit dated/tired and would benefit from being modernised to improve user experience. Especially when entering data into objects 


Basic Features Require User to Purchase Add Ons.

Some features that should be included in the Dayklite system (e.g. Custom Fields for Objects with Drop Downs, Unique Opportunity or Project Numbering) require an additional subscription from a 3rd party provider.

**What problems is Daylite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Pipeline / Opportunity Tracking - Single Source of Truth and Useful Pipelines. 
Basic Task Management - Worklist is great way to stay on top of to do lists and prioritise. 
Contact Management (*except issue with no sync to 365 is creating a problem)

Highly recommended, from our experience of several CRM through the years ( with Windows then Macs), DAYLITE is the best from far, it suits particularly small business and organisations in our view.

**What problems is Daylite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As agent for several principals in different countries, we are the hub of communications between multiple contacts, several with the customers and several with the principals for various technical projects, the Daylite CRM helps us enormously to follow all and be on top of it; also projects sometimes run for a very long period of time, and the easiness of search for a particular document or message is great for us, including technical drawings, pictures, technical data sheets etc. Invaluable also the fact that we are both (we are a micro company with only 2  people) aware at all time of the files and their progress, including when travelling for business.

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

We have been using Daylite for about ten years and it is at the heart of our marketing operations. The contact management system is installed on my iPhone, Macbook Pro and other Apple devices, which means that I always have my entire database with me wherever I go.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

Not really a downside for us, but Daylite is only available for Mac users. When we were using PCs we used ACT and Daylite was the most compatible system to transfer over to and we haven't looked back.

**What problems is Daylite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of all our client details, media outlets, suppliers and prospects is so easy. All in-bound and out-bound emails are appended to the relevant record, which means you can delete all received and sent emails them from your email system. 

The notes section is very useful and the calendar and to-do features are great. When you set up a new meeting with a contact in Daylite they are sent an invite, which they can accept irrespectuve of whether they're Mac or PC users.

Total integration with Billings and super easy to navigate. The system is user-friendly, easily customisable and visually very appealing. Infinite possibilities to create stages, CRM info and customer data, project management and much more.

Because the question is asking me to focus on the negative aspects of the software, I have wracked my brain to try and think of things I dislike about the software. I can't think of anything. Genuinely. It is awesome and the developers update so often, there is always something new to learn from or a new/improved feature.

Daylite is helping me to manage my clients, deal with project aspects such as costings, job spec, pipeline stages, email communications and integration to billings allows me to keep on top of invoicing.

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

Native integration with all Apple platforms puts it ahead of other SAAS solutions for macOS users. Includes email, tasks, contact, calendars, and more. As an example, emails are automatically linked to matching contacts, accounts, opportunities, and/or projects regardless of which Apple platform you are using.  And Daylite can support multiple email accounts simplifying your life if you are an independent consultant. I often have 3-6 different email accounts for various clients. Daylite helps keep them straight and tied to the right client.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

Being a long-time Apple device user, Marketcirle's focus on Apple platforms is great for me. While this does make them somewhat unique for business applications, it does limit their user base. Even for relatively small organizations, there may be someone who needs access to the data but uses a Windows or Android device. In my opinion, it would be a plus for them to offer a web-based user interface for those customers without macOS or iOS devices.

**What problems is Daylite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daylite offers comprehensive CRM features offered by most competitive solutions for small businesses. It helps me keep track of prospective clients in various stages, and track ongoing projects with current ones. There are group email features native to the app, and add-on integrations with MailChimp for more demanding email needs. Lists and new leads can be directly captured for simplify data management.

I've use Daylite for well over a decade and appreciate the utility and flexibility of the software. It's convenient to use is valuable to help me run my small business.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

Daylite took me a while to learn a long time ago but their customer service has always been there to help out. It's much easier to use than when I started out though.

**What problems is Daylite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to be able track my guests and the trips they've been on with me. It's nice to tell returning guests which guide they had 8 years ago and who their fellow travellers were. Having all this data on my desktop, iPad and iPhone makes it extremely convenient.

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

I love that to start, there's an outstanding amount of customer resources to help with troubleshooting and exploring features that are simple, intuitive, and informative. Beyond that, they also make it incredibly easy to contact their customer support team if you experience problems or if you have any questions regarding their platform. Every time I've reached out via email, I get a response within minutes, and the problem is typically resolved just as quickly. In the rare instance that a potential product improvement is uncovered, their support team is careful to listen and understand our concerns or suggestions so that they can provide the full context of our pain point to their development team. I continue to be impressed by this team from all the improvements they've made to both improving performance and query load speed times, to come up with new features that have allowed us to be more productive and effective as an organization. 

In the past, I've used  Salesforce and in my experience, whether it was Salesforce Classic or Lightning, it always felt notoriously slow, cumbersome, and needly complex to perform simple functions and the customer service experience was always "meh." You might get to the solution you need, but you were never really crazy about it, and if you wanted to make a feature recommendation you never really felt confident that it was actually going to go somewhere.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

There's not much I can think of. I don't believe that there's a feature to send mass emails through them, but it's never something we've explored since we've always been comfortable exporting contact lists to Mailchimp to send out campaigns, and there isn't a feature to directly create or log calls or invite someone else such as a sales manager to be able to sit in on the call in the background to provide feedback. Our organization logs call notes manually and work in pairs when having calls with a customer/client which allows us to always have one person typing up notes. If you're looking for a CRM that has more features to simplify that type of sales/outreach experience, then this may not be the best fit.

As a whole we use Daylite as our primary CRM to track and log customer/client relationships, explore and identify new opportunities, and uncover trends in our data.

It's surprisingly powerful. The interface which appears in Apple mail is extremely useful and means that relevant contacts etc are imported in one click - after initial setup.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

It's complicated in its capability which means that "how to set it up" for your context and type of business is unknown. I'd love to see use cases where one could select from a bunch of diverse statements those that closely resemble one's own biz context so a set of "set up settings" can be implemented from the get go so it's easier and more value adding from the get go.

The UI is tired and needs updating to modern standards. They need to adopt a more ‘Kaizen’ approach to reducing the number of clicks to create links and relationships.

**Recommendations to others considering Daylite:**

Due to the slowness of entering data (because of the outdated interface), If you have a dedicated admin person you’ll likely be much happier with Daylite than has been my experience. It also crashes frequently, sometimes hourly. It makes it difficult to keep in sync with the mobile app because that requires a dedicated device to sync with the database. It isn’t a truly seamless sync because if the client isn’t open and running on that dedicated computer, any changes made on the mobile device simply don’t get synced in real time to the database.

Appointment and task tracking are extremely useful when linking to projects and opportunities

Daylite accomplishes what no other program that I have used can.  It synchronizes all aspects of our communication, tasks, appointments, email, etc with each business opportunity.  It links each email, text, letter, document, contact, and employee, related to those opportunities so that all members of my team are able to work together at bringing each sales opportunity to a satisfactory close.  And, the program is totally customizable to fit any organization in any industry.

I can't think of anything about this program that I dislike.

Daylite automatically generates tasks and appointments for all team members so that we are able to manage and track many transactions without any opportunities falling through the cracks.  We are in the mortgage banking industry and are dealing with many consumers.  It is easy to lose track of your client needs due to the shear number of people requesting assistance.  Daylite prevents this from happening.

I EXPERIENCE phenomenal control over all my data, commitments, opportunities, and projects. I now excel at execution. There are fewer things on my mind due to Daylite's automation features. I manage both my business and family life with Daylite, an integrated solution for information management.

When I realized my peace, sanity, and time were worth protecting and was fed up with complaining to my wife about a piece of garbage software I was currently using, I did not have a solution to replace it with. It wasn't until I threw the gauntlet down that there had to be something for the Mac that was serious for running my small business did I discover my new-found love—Daylite.

The key factor is that it is not web based! Data sync between my Mac and iPhone/iPad via Daylite Cloud seamlessly but the database reside on my device.

The interface is robust and intuitive, no waste of time, I can link anything to everything with a simple click.

I have been using Daylite since 2009 or so. The development is constant and goes in the right direction. Daylite support team is amazing. I honestly could not manage my businesses and projects without it.

Not much. Only thing I can think of would be to have the same access to all features of the Mac version on the iPad.

My overall experience is acceptable. It works well with salesforce, and it has the important features. In this we have been tried performing many scalable action towards over business business. As a small company very easy to adapt to the product setup and educate other users of the application, which has additionally helped in  giving better approaches for business.

The most concerning issue with it is User Experience. At the point when you have database errors it creates downtimes. Additionally, the export and migration  was a bit complicated to figure for our team. This was somewhat  a misfortune for us when we changed to Salesforce. Daylite CRM offers the best value for money particularly for startup and mid-tier companies and offers good collaboration and data management. I love this product for its design for Apple, it is really beautiful, and I also like that I can attach all emails immediately from the sidebar. It works very well in a correct way, it is specially designed for Apple users, it does a good job and increases communication in the team when we collaborate together. There are multiple aspects that I loved about Daylite. The most important is its tight integration with the Mac's Mail Client. Daylite's UX feels like that of a default Apple App. Once Daylite is integrated with the Mail Client and Calender, it creates various events with the most important information in a systematic manner. It becomes easier to schedule appointments with the stakeholder for followups while managing a project. This helped improve the relationship with the client.

There is only one pricing model available in Daylite. I would encourage the team for a more customized plan creation tailored for the requirements. Supporting automatically generated timeline graphs that shows the communication trails and the actions taken would give a quick snapshot of the state.

I would recommend if Daylite could add the capability to interact with other APIs (LinkedIn, Google, Tableau, Microsoft Office 365) because there are various use-cases which are not quite possible with the current version,

This software is great because you can easily and securely organize all of your contacts! The absolute best and our favorite part is how you can connect your emails to every single contact, so when you you looking at a specific person you can see what your last email communication with them was! It is super nice and convenient!

The search option can be inconsistent and a bit of a struggle to get working. Sometimes when you search a specific word or phrase you get a long list of emails that supposedly contain that word or phrase, however, when you open the email it is often hard to find where that word or phrase is. So what is the point if you search something and then can not find the specific thing you are searching for.

I would love to see a comprehensive addition of KanBan boards, so that I could see at a glance what projects/opportunities are at what stage

I can find stuff! Scheduling is better and I really like the email integration

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

I like its elegant and straightforward interface, and I love the way to integrates emails; it is a perfect tool, I can also link everything and see the relationships, plan projects and even add a reminder and keep track of finances, it is a good solution.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

Daylite has worked great, but sometimes it gets slow on iPhone and difficult for me to check in anywhere.

**Recommendations to others considering Daylite:**

Stay up to date with this intuitive product; you can customize the fields or areas, track, manage emails, invoices, and many more with Daylite, easy to use and very flexible. I recommend it.

The best CRM I have used, the benefit is staying organized all day and managing tasks and invoices at any time and quickly.

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

Daylite is user friendly. We don't use every function of the program but the functions we don't use don't seem to get in the way. The central data base for clients is really functional as well. We can even link it to our direct mail system to have marketing newsletters appear to come from different users of Daylite, depending on who we write in as the owner of th an individual.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

I don't like a feature of the latest update where you have to pull across the side bar in order to see tasks & pipeline and Estimate in opportunities. The older versions automatically made the side bar wider which was much easier, I don't get why it was changed.

**What problems is Daylite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying on top of tasks is very easy as they can be easily linked to the calendar and an opportunity. It blends into one really well with the projects, email linking, task linking to make managing projects very easy.

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

It works great and that's what matters, plus its user interface is great and I love it, and it works great on MacOS, being able to manage notes and projects in one place is the best.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

So far it has worked and fulfilled what it promises, I have not noticed anything serious so far, only that its integration is somewhat complex, I suggest you put instructions with more details in depth and that way it would be a little easier at first.

Its integration can be somewhat complex but after you understand it, everything will be much easier and will help you more than expected, I recommend it.

I can have everything organized, manage projects, tasks and prepare reports, also the follow-up by contact is very good and has been very useful.

This tool is good and useful for its different functionalities such as fluid collaboration and other add-ons that help me more than expected, it works very well, its integration was very fast and easy, its interface is flexible and it has everything very organized, Daylite is really good and also reliable.

sometimes it tends to be slow and not so fluid, but it is nothing serious.

I like the customization and it keeps everything in one place, it's a great app for managing tasks and projects effectively, its interface is flexible and intuitive, and the iPad and iPhone integration is great.

Sometimes I have problems for appointment reminders, it does not notify me in time, it is also difficult to customize, but it is only details that I know will be fixed.

I recommend that you use the trial version to see how it works, and you will see that it really is excellent and worth paying for this product.

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

Daylite is an excellent, highly customizable CRM program that allows me to organize and monitor my business operations in real time.  Critical information such as staff schedules, payroll, patient and supplier contact information can be recorded and shared in a very secure manner.  Users may access their accounts on multiple MAC and iOS devices without having to repeatedly log in and out while maintaining a high degree of security.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

I'd like to see a web-accessible version of Daylite for those occasions when we simply can't get to a MAC or iOS device or need to share information with (non-Apple based) third parties.    
Also, I'd like to see a low-cost "limited use" license for staff who don't need access to the full functionality of Daylite.

Daylite is a great CRM product for anyone working with teams in an Apple based environment.

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

I have been using Daylite to run my business and manage my account for a couple of decades and have found the CSR support to always exceed expectations. Yes there are some very occasional glitches (what software doesn't), however in each and every rare situation the support group at Daylite have been there right away, no delay, no press one, then 2, someone will call you back etc... personal and professional. The solution itself allows me to never lose sight of anyone or anything.. and I would be pleased to provide a personal recommendation to anyone.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

none that i can think of.. other than if i ever wanted to move from Apple to Android... they do not have a solution yet.

Just do it! its a great product, terrific support, always updating..

**What do you like best about Daylite?**

The power of the Daylite Mail Assistant is invaluable to my company. I run a Music agent and each artist is their own project. Each project is then filled with numerous appointments for their shows and tours. DMA allows me to always make sure that every email gets correctly assigned to the right appointment and project. This saves me hours of time later when I have to quickly recall the previous communications on a specific event.

**What do you dislike about Daylite?**

The inability to create a pipeline from an appointment is annoying but not a dealbreaker. It is possible within a project but in my business we really need the pipeline facility within appointments. It means I have to use a combination of Daylite and Airtable. If Daylite could provide the same facility in appointments I could focus solely on Daylite for everything.

**Recommendations to others considering Daylite:**

If you are a Mac user and need a 1 stop shop to handle  your CRM and project management, look no further. It is well worth the investment and will help you free up and save many hours that the cost of the software.

Daylite is a fabulous project management tool that allows us to manage all aspects of each project with ease. The ability to tag everything including  contacts, projects, appointments, attachments and much more keeps everything organized.
