The best part of Daylite is the integration with our Apple technology and ecosystem. We also like the ability to track custom field items Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wish we could see the entire teams calendar at once on iPad or iPhone. Don't like having to switch between users to see each calendar Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm a total Mac-head, i.e. Macbook Pro + iPhone + iPad. Daylite combines all the macOS and iOS apps (Mail, Calendar, Reminders, Contacts) I use all the time into a single environment and enhances all their underlying functionality to create a powerful CRM and Project Management tool. Most importantly I'm not dependent on an online tool, it syncs with the cloud when online, but works independently on my laptop offline.
The Daylite plugin for macOS Apple Mail and iOS Daylite app allow me to process all incoming email and other 'inputs', acting as a gateway to the full Daylite system. This allows me to fully implement David Allen's principles of 'Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity' #GTD and achieve a state of 'Inbox Zero' . If I write 'Nothing', no one's gonna believe me, but I'm lovin' it and can't think of anything at the moment. The only things that I disliked at some point in the past got fixed or modified several version updates ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Globally, it is a very useful tool, superbly designed, extremely versatile and adaptative, completely reliable, which meet my needs as an entrepreneur running a Mac-based management consulting firm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. I just regret that there is no real document management attached to it. I still use Dropbox in parallel with Daylite. That's OK, but having a dropbox-like took built in inside Daylite would make it perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like Daylite simplicity and ease of use. Costumer service is really second to none. There isn't a single incident that they haven't solved in a flash. The incredible integration with mail is superb and allows to manage emails on the fly this is particularly good in the iPhone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is someway for the app to be perfect (but since in life nothing is perfect I would say that the app is near to perfect).
1) I use a lot of merges to write letters and would like a option to be able to merge from reports that I create. If a item reporting is of a certain dimension then the merge crashes.
2) Not enough custom fields
3) A dropbox like feature would be advantageous
4) The reporting facility is very poor. There should be a facility to create reports
5) linkedin integration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can keep everything in one place. My calendar, customer history of every email and document we've exchanged, next steps, groups, projects, etc. With a dashboard to help me prioritize every day it is seldom things fall through the cracks. It's only my own human error or lack of diligence that causes it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish working with companies was a little easier. I don't necessarily have a specific relationship with each company. The emails come from support or info@ so it takes a few extra steps to make that link. It doesn't call up the company automatically like it does the person. Not a big deal, but something I notice when trying to link at email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer Service, anytime I leave a ticket, of if someone from DL is online, they alway have the answers. 2nd.... The Email Integration, it doesn't matter what your job description is these days...it will involve Email, so Seamless Integration with DL is of utmost importance. 1st........Reporting...it is not User-Friendly to create Printable Reports from all the different Fields for Contacts, Tasks, Forms, etc.
2nd......DL only allows 12 Custom Fields for the Person (Contact). That needs to be increased.
3rd......When viewing "People" have the ability to add Color to a Section or Keyword....so when you first land on the Person that info jumps out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really enjoyed how the app automatically connects to my computer application for Daylite. If I was in a meeting with a client, I could easily scan their business card into the phone app, and it would automatically fill out their information promptly into the database. It was nice that various people could work on Daylite at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I couldn't export my contacts into an email. If I wanted to send out a party invite, I had to manually copy and paste over and over each email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Daylite's mobile intergration is a force multiplier as everything is cloud based and accessible anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there is a lag because it is cloud based. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
