There is SO much capability and compatability for zen planner. is has A TON of features. class tracking, calendar function, automated emails, reporting, etc. I have been using it for 10+ years and they continue to try to improve systems and improve integrations. Customer service is typically very quick to help resolve issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So much of zen planner is redudant and the functionality DOES NOT meet best practices.
There is a appointment calednar on Zen planner studio AND in Zen Planner Ultimate. Neither of these calendar functions are as simple and useful as either calendy OR Acuity. so you have to pay for another service.
The same goes for the email automations. The email builder is present in the Zen Planner Studio, BUT it is also present in the Zen Planner Ultimate. I think that neither of these email systems is better than what Uplaunch was. I would RATHER use uplaucnh than either of the email builders currently available.
if there was a way to customize some of the functionality so that I could clean up and use what was useful for my business and get rid of the rest that would be ideal.
All THREE platforms zen planner studio, zen planner ultimate, and sugarwod OFTEN crash and have to be rebooted or reloaded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Daxko Operations is its user-friendly interface and robust features that streamline management for health and wellness organizations. The customer support is exceptional, ensuring that users feel supported and empowered to maximize their operational efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Daxko Operations is that some users find the learning curve steep, especially for new employees. Additionally, occasional system updates can disrupt workflow, requiring time to adjust and retrain staff, which can be frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Check in is nice. Being internet based is nice too Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reports and registrstion aren't intuitive. Its like a secret language to figure things out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the interaface. It's pretty easy to read and view the scheduler. I like the ability to see class atendees and access their info right from the attendee screen Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not sure if this feature exists, but I would like email notifications on cancelations, updates in times, and new appointments added to the calendar Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to add programs and have people register online or in person. We are able to easily run monthly reports with membership info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No issues, I think this is a great program and I recommend it for any fitness center. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Studio: Their main platform for member management, ZenPlanner Studio, is easy to navigate, easy to use, and dynamic. You can build custom reports for literally anything and everything (super helpful when you track your number as a gym owner).
Engagement: The CRM - I had switched short-term to a different platform because they had a CRM, but I wasn't happy with their member management. As soon as ZenPlanner announced that they had a CRM, I jumped immediately and couldn't be happier. The implementation was tedious, but ZenPlanner made it painless. They integrate Studio and Engagement exceptionally well, and the automations/workflows have streamlined our onboarding process for prospective members.
The biggest thing about ZenPlanner is the customer service - they answer the questions and get back to you with answers if they don't know. They are always asking for feedback, listening to their customers, and actually implementing change and improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Small first world problems - the retail in the web-version is a little clunky, and you can't toggle between multiple studio databases (have to log in and out each time). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Daxko is easy to use and is also efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The problem between registering members for group ex classes with group ex pro, sometimes members come up as inactive when they are in fact active and then they have to be added manually in group ex pro's roster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has a sleek design and helps members manage their accounts efficiently. I appreciate the way we can make alerts at different color coded levels on all accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing I have worked with has been displeasing. One suggestion could be adding more color to the interface, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do like that you can see class rosters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not easily navigated from page to page. Too many issues going back and forth Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a fundraiser, I appreciate having our operations and fundraising in one package. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Daxko Operations was clearly built first for membership and program registrations and then fundraising was added on. There is some clunkiness to the fundraising aspects (for example, corporate donors show up in reports by the name of the corporation's key individual, not by the name of the company; you have to export a report to find basic information about an onine donor), but it is still the best software package I've used.
