The versatility of options and the helpfulness of support. It's very ease to integrate and setup. I use it often several times/day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are downsides to Datto SIRIS for Azure. It's nowehere close to as built-out with features and customizability as a local SIRIS. As a result, it's less reliable and useable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Appliance dedicted to Backups, easy to manage, fas to implement, great costumer support, Can make backup of your Server/Computers 24/7 every hour every day, Easy to integrate with your PSA and Backup Radar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe price?, much companies fail to invest on backups but, backups are priceless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integration with VMWare Uses existing vmware snapshot technology to take backups, you get the screenshot email to confirm all has been validated.ITs easy to implement a new backup, almost a next / next finish. you can encrypt the backup and you know that is then immuatable. We have backups scheduled 2 hourly upto weekly, all with no issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Appliance does fill up very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of Use, Ease of Implementation, Number of Features, and Great Customer Support. Also ease of upgrade of datto appliances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support for Ubantu Platform has been painfully slow and not able to keep up even years after the plaform has been release. For example is the case for Datto BCDR support for Ubuntu 20.04 servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to order, install and configure. Reliable and works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No real downsides. It's only available via an MSP model so that if that doesn't fit your sevices approach, it maynot be a good fit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of setup, and file recovery is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If the disk being backed up has a file system that isn't in perfect condition, recovery can be a challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Datto BDR's have proven that they are extremely valuable in the event of Ransomware Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The two different platforms for restores. Should all be under one pane of glass. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BCDR. Always gives peace of mind and confidence that backups are successful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike really. If anything it's the lack of Vlan-ing on the network side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Datto BCDR was easy to setup and monitors its self. I dont have to worry about it, if there is an issue, I know immediately, and if I cant solve it, the support team can. I love the speed at which I can virtualize and be back online, even before my failed PC is replaced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I get notices of a failure, but it is just the PC hung up on a windows update. its a little inconvenient, but I prefer false positives over not being protected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
These are so much nicer then the Datto Alto's... Just as easy it was to deploy the Alto, it is the Same with the Siris 5... We just had to Migrate 10 units from the Alto 3 and 4 and we moved them up to the Siris 5X... Dealing with the Customer Support is easy... I do miss talking to the Guys and Gals in Rochester and Norwalk... But the Team in Florida has been Great... I am on these everyday just checking on how things are running for all of the devices we have... It makes it easy when checking the Status Page... You get to see all the primary things you need.. But when in the GUI, it give you a more in depth amount of informations... I love the fact that now we don't have to start the Recovery Launchpad through the Datto Portal on the Device Web Page... You can do everything from the Datto Portal now... Easy and convenience is awesome... One of the best things is the fact of how you can run Virtul Servers if needed... I have had to run Virtual servers on both types of devices... Alto being a Web based Virtual Server, so nice to have it, but so brutally slow for working on... Now, the Siris 5X and higher; you get to run your Virtual server right off of your Device, it operates just a bit slower then what your normal server is (Well, depending on what you have already) but the fact that this comes with the Siris Units is an Awesome benifit. Also, now the Series 5 have a independant drive for its OS and a Seperate Drive for your data, it is great. You don't have to worry about each other consuming or having a designated amount held of the OS now. Ever want to know more, just ask... Will always share my mind and knowledge with you all... Not a lot of things to be said for disliking. If it is just on the Siris, the Desktop Version, I wish it had a smaller Battery Supply... Server Based... They F'ng Rock... Well worth the Money.. IS THAT A Dislike... Nope... Loving Them... When you come out with the New Siris 6, ditch the Dell body base units... Proprietary drivers will hurt you in the long run... Working with Servers, workstations and laptops... They are normally the hardest things I work on... Look at HP or the Intel NUC's for the next versions... Thanks... I have been using these since the Orginal Alto's to the New Siris... Just upgraded all of the Alto's we had to the Siris 5X, and upgraded to the Siris 5-12 as well...
