For me, the speaking in front of a group was certainly the most uncomfortable portion of the training, but I'm sure most people would say that so it should come as no surprise. Oddly most people I talked to in my training course thought I did great with my presentations, but I always felt like a nervous wreck every time so I didn't feel I ever did that good. I've been able to significantly increase my ability to more effectively communicate with others by routinely showing more appreciation, asking more questions, holding back on any negative thoughts & just overall trying to be more patient. All of these little things when implemented on a daily basis yield sizable results where I find others more apt to respond in a timely manner, willing to help with much bigger tasks that I didn't even ask them to help with or just offering up to do favors because they want to show their gratitude for the gratefulness I've shown them.
