"An excellent LMS in user interface and functionalities!"

What do you like best about CYPHER Learning?

I have been using the Cypher Learning LMS for over a decade. I was drawn to it by its ease of use, as it requires no additional installation and the user interface is very pleasant and intuitive. Moreover, the multitude of features it implements, among which its gamification and personalized learning systems stand out – which are among the best on the market – including different types of quizzes with multimedia question banks.

My students have been using this website weekly for their assignments, which have included many different types of activities, with different types of multimedia materials and integrations with third-party platforms.

Another aspect I highlight is the speed and efficiency of their customer support. Not only have they responded within hours, but their responses included, when necessary, screenshots and even video recordings to clarify the explanations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CYPHER Learning?

Among the disadvantages, I highlight that for some time the LTI integration with third-party platforms has not been very deep. Specifically, the functionality for the results obtained by students on these external platforms to automatically appear on the student's results board within the Cypher Learning LMS. Even so, in the last year this functionality and closer integration have been achieved, so I can't think of any more details that I don't like. It is a superb learning management system! What problems is CYPHER Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?

The motivation of students through the tracking of their results and the possibility of providing them with personalized feedback automatically. This not only contributed to sustaining their engagement and improving their learning in the short term – in a study session or school work – but – and above all – in the long term, thanks to the gamification features of the LMS and, especially, the Course Competency Mastery feature, which allows students to check their level of achievement in the different areas of the course, as well as access personalized resources adapted to their level of performance and understanding of the subject. What do you like best about CYPHER Learning?

What I liked most about CYPHER Learning was the quality of the web design and the versatility of it in the teaching realm, which allowed my professor back then to exploit lots of different learning environments which seemed all very stimulating and exciting for the student, pushing us to get better and focus even more in the class to try to ger score points and stars, which then we could use to go up the ranks named after rhythmical musical figures like ‘garrapatea’. Back then when I used it, it solved the problems that other teaching platforms such as google classroom have, such as the limited possibilities that Classroom offers for the teacher creavitvity-wise. "Encourage doing tasks in exchange for rewards in the classroom"

What I liked most about using Cypher in class was being rewarded with "stars" for doing my assignments, which I could then use to gain advantages in exams or assignments as a reward. "NEO LMS is a life-saver."

What do you like best about CYPHER Learning?

NEO LMS helped me keep my job and the jobs of my colleagues during the pandemic. It greatly facilitated the transition from traditional teaching to innovative teaching. It is user-friendly and has a fantastic interface and a helpful support team. Creating classes, enrolling students, and designing modules are super easy. The platform is very flexible. I love the Gradebook; it made grade computation the least problematic. And, of course, the gamification feature is a game-changer. My students look forward to receiving their points, badges and rewards after completing an assessment or a module. The rewards that they received were life savers. What do you dislike about CYPHER Learning?

What is there to dislike? The LMS has improved a lot since I first used it in 2012. My colleagues' concerns are not really about the platform but their "ignorance" of it. Once they come to learn about how to use it, then they start loving it as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CYPHER Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?

Since I'm in education, it helped us keep enrollment on a positive note during the pandemic lockdown. We don't have to provide printed modules to our students. For that, the school was able to save a lot, i.e., paper, printing and logistics. We created online classes with modules and assessments.
