With Cylance always scanning our PCs in the background we have never had a virus infect our PCs. Because of this and a lot of testing, we deployed Cylance to all 800 of our customers PCs. The deployment was easy and each install was very fast. You have to option to manually install it or do it via GPO which saves a lot of time. Once its installed Cylances GUI lets you know whats going on at all times. You can right click the Green shield and push and update if you recently change a policy or something. You can see what Cylance has blocked including the filename and the time and date. The best part is that 100% of our customers have been virus free since we installed Cylance. This product can be very expensive but its worth it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The white glove service to help get it setup is a good idea, you may need it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You pretty much have to whitelist everything you don't want it to block. In our multi-application environment this process has been going on for 8 months and doesn't seem to be nearing its end. Wanna implement script control? Well there's no intelligence there, you just have to digitally sign or whitelist every script you want to be able to run. Very time consuming and anti-productive in a complex application environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the ever changing world of IT you have to be able to guarantee that your clients will be protect from attacks. That is a very difficult task when every day something new is developed in order to take over your PC and still your information. Thats why we love Cylance. Its the only product that has stopped everything we have thrown at it.

I wish they had better customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the peace of mind that Cylance brings. Cylance Protect is a great product but it lacked some tools for digging in to what was happening. I love how easy Optics makes it to look into what happened on a device. And then how easy it is to make changes. We also love the support we have gotten through Cylance. This is one of the few companies who will sit down with you and go over to try and help you improve your processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our main issue with Cylance right now is they are all over the place. You have a different portal for every product that you use. That can be time consuming and frustrating to keep up with. That said they are working towards bringing all those pieces together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It offers efficient protection in a general way, acts quickly against malware, saves time because its ability to detect viruses, quarantine is excellent, delete or disinfect and recover the infected file, detecting malware faster than other antivirus , I like it because this protection system is complete what makes your work and our preference more effective. The lack of information is a problem, not having an exact configuration of alerts at the time that the virus has been detected makes it annoying, although the software is effective against viruses so I continue using the program and being aware of the following advances of this product. Cylance is an easy to configure antivirus product with a great console. The reporting is great and the threat reports are incredibly thorough. The agent is also very reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think the MacOS client is as reliable as the Windows client. We had numerous issues after upgrading to Mojave with Cylance. The issue was fixed with an agent update but that took over a month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We deployed Cylance to over 1000 PCs and 80 servers and have been loving it ever since. Its ability to always be running in the background has stopped so many viruses in their tracks I have lost count. Their dashboard is also amazing and filled with great stats on whats going on with every PC that has a Cylance agent on it. I highly recommend this tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only issue with it is that its not super easy to just whitelist a folder Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
...it did stop some of the malware we threw at it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of reporting!! When we did our POC we hit a device with a bunch of exploits, and the admins didn't get a single alert...not one!!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how this software keeps our computers protected. We have had several incidents where we needed this to dig into what was happening on our computers. This helped us drill down and find what was happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We dont have much control as users but we leave that to our IT personnel. Our than that not much to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Cylance Protect is a solid product, stands up next to industry leaders. Easy to deploy across entire network and simple to use. Rules were easy to create and roll out also. This is designed to pair with it and on workstations we have had little or no problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If deployed on a file server, real time scanning locks up files you are trying to open. Even if you make a rule to just watch and not run live it impacts files randomly. support was of no help, we just killed the service and files opened immediately. We used to use McAfee that included HIPS but this is not available with Cylance so you need to find an additional solution for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
