I believe they have put things in place for those of us that start earlier and with the system of marking on the email what is urgent. So not much to add to dislike!

All IT issues.  They seem to have a significant/knowledgeable staff that helps wait time; if someone is busy, someone else is there to help.

Availability, friendly and always complete the request. always accessible and i can always track my requests anytime i need to see the history. They always ensure that i am responded with the solutions

Nothing that I can dislike them for. Always best. They do not have anything that i do not like. it has always been easy and supportive team to work with. They do respond immidiately.

**Describe the project or task Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions helped with:**

Cygnus has taken the time to understand our processes and our software packages. They assigned us a dedicated engineer who is most familiar with how we do things, but the additional specialists also strive to do so. Cygnus acts as an intermediary for us regarding our Agency Management System, which helps us not to have to wait on hold for help. Their complete care manages our on-site server and other office machines as needed. They are always available to us for issues in our office or at our home offices. Moving to remote work has been easy as they helped us be ready for this process. As they have grown throughout our relationship, their service only keeps improving. We have been with Cygnus for six years now and don't feel a need to interview any others.

It is so very helpful that they have learned our systems and software products so that they are fully able to diagnose problems and give us good sound advice.

**What do you dislike about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

There were growing pains at first. Once we learned that we didn't need to utilize their first line of service (is it plugged in?) and bypass it, the relationship bumps disappeared.

**Describe the project or task Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions helped with:**

I have had multiple issues, since Cygnus Systems took over IT duties for RDS. I have usually been helped by either Holden or Kevin. I had an issue with printing bein defaulted to double-sided print, which was corrected. I also had an issue with Adobe Acrobat DC asking me to save all documents to a new name, each time I opened and revised the record in any way, creating multiple extra unnecessary steps. This issue was also fixed. Kevin did an excellent job in setting up my laptop and docking station for Windows 10 and Microsoft 365. The only negative issues I can think of is not having someone from Cygnus Systems in our office each day, and on occasion, it takes a while to get an issue resolved, either in the office or remotely. However, I have had help remotely, as well, from both Holden and Kevin, and they have always eventually resolved any issue I might be having with anything related to the laptop, server, Adobe Acrobat DC or the DRR Project.

They are accommodating, cordial and knowledgeable.

On occasion, a solution takes a bit longer than I would like, but they always get the task fixed to my satisfaction. In addition, I wish someone from Cygnus Solutions was in the office each day.

I have explained any issues above, helped by Holden or Kevin, either remotely or in the office. They both have very good expertise and are always cordial and respectful.

We use Cygnus as our outsourced IT solution provider. They help with day-to-day tickets/questions from our users at the office and at home. They also assist us with special projects. We have 21 users, all who work at the office, and have a remote workstation as well.

**What do you like best about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

They don't nickel and dime you for charges outside the scope of their flat monthly fees. They are a partner and take time to develop a relationship with each client.

**What do you dislike about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

Sometimes we struggle to get timely or thorough answers on our phone system (Star2Star). That is the only thing I can pick on... so that's saying a lot!

Talk to the existing clients who use Cygnus about their experiences.  You won't be disappointed!

We have a small staff, and the one employee in our office who serves as "point person"  is able to do other tasks outside of IT.  We benefit from the entire team of expertise at Cygnus while not having the burden of hiring a person internally to do all things IT.

Cygnus helps with my day-to-day IT needs. Overall, a good service provider. People seem friendly overall. It does seem like there are some knowledge gaps within the staff, and if senior members find a solution, I wish the knowledge was transferred to other team members. I have one issue, in particular, that is frequent for my team and me. It seems we are consistently facing the same issue in our service request, and information as to how it was fixed is does not seem to be passed on to new team members. While it is usually resolved, it does take some time to do so, which can negatively impact my work and the clients we serve.

**What do you like best about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

Friendly. Helpful and wanting to do a good job. I appreciate the fact that on occasion they have sent senior team members to the office to check-in and see how the services have been received.

**What do you dislike about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

As mentioned above, I think more transparency/knowledge sharing may need to happen internally at Cygnus. This may be specific to me/my team, but it seems like we face consistent issues with some of our requests as well as a longer-than-average wait to get it resolved. I also wish that some things (e.g., password resets) could be pushed through without having to schedule a call for a remote session. It seems like these could be done via email.

Problems would be general IT administrative issues. Stuart has been a great help on several occasions, helping me find workarounds to existing issues so I can do my job more effectively.

I was working remotely and my laptop would not connect properly to our office. Ivan helped and was able to recalibrate my laptop so that I was able to access all my files.

**What do you like best about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

I like how patient and helpful the support team is. Over the phone or in person, I've always felt comfortable and confident with interacting with the specialists. Even if the issue isn't fixed at once, they keep working hard.

I currently have not run into anything that makes me feel negatively towards the specialists or the company. If I had to choose, I would suggest there being more open hours or to recruit more specialists to help with large problems.

I am having no problems that affect me personally. The benefits I've noticed though, is how easy it is to contact the team or submit a ticket. The response time is perfect!

After a significant IT update on my computer, it was stuck in update mode. I called IT to assist me with resetting my computer properly to initiate the proper update. It took a few times and the IT tech manually taking over remotely for it to work correctly.

**What do you like best about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

The tech knew how to troubleshoot the issue. I am very tech-savvy myself, but when the computer got stuck in the update, I was unsure what the proper commands were to initiate the update.

**What do you dislike about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

There was nothing to dislike. The tech knew what he needed to do even after the update was not working right away.

If there is an update issue, I know I can go straight to them to fix it before there is a more significant issue. The benefits I realized, is that they are always available to help.

The scanner connected to my computer was not able to scan and send the images into the image inbox in TAM.

They worked really hard on this complicated issue, and explained what they were doing when they could. They handled speaking to different parties as needed.

It took at least a week to resolve the issue and made it so I could not do some of my other work when they were actively addressing the issue as they needed me present for login purposes or had remote control of my computer.

They will work outside of typical business hours when they can, and have many resources that they can apply to solve a problem.

I can tell them this is an immediate need or not.  In other words, if I cannot do my job because of the issue they stop and help.  I did not experience this with our former IT company.

Updates happening during regular business hours has been resolved.  Making it so we can be more productive.  Being a valued part of our team when we switched to our emergency plan for COVID.

There is little I like about working with Cygnus. I guess I would say that they have a 24 hour call line is something I like, but the emergency response from that line ends up being what I dislike.

**What do you dislike about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

We brought Cygnus on with the anticipation of having a company that would take care of our IT. Yet every issue we've run into ends up being something they didn't anticipate despite the fact that they had full access to our systems to learn what they would have to deal with. The result has been costly projects or bandaids on problems instead of true fixes. I find myself continually coming up with workarounds to our IT situation rather than depending on reliable IT support.

Know what they are committing to and make sure it isn't so narrowly scoped that the problems you are actually trying to solve don't fall into the high price you're paying for their services.

The problem we solved with Cygnus was our reliance on one IT person internally who could not keep up with the demands of over 80 employees. So, some of the basic every day little stuff gets solved. But that is a low bar. I don't think the benefits line up with the price tag.

I have often reached out to Cygnus for assistance with all sorts of IT issues - from a printer not working to my entire computer not booting up correctly. Whenever I have needed help from Cygnus, they have responded promptly and resolved the issue as quickly, patiently, and expertly as possible. With every point I  required assistance with, they not only fixed the problem but took steps to ensure I would not experience similar issues in the future.

**What do you like best about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

I like how quickly Cygnus is able to respond to my tickets and assign a tech to contact me to discuss and resolve the issue. This assignment process is fairly quick and easy, and it is nice having such support available at all times.

**What do you dislike about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

Sometimes, it would be more helpful to have assistance in the office rather than remotely. I know assistance is available in the office on certain days, but any IT issues I have usually cannot wait until someone is in the office. I have found that resolving the issues remotely works very well for most IT issues that i face, however.

I have solved numerous IT problems using Cygnus' services, including small problems such as connecting to a certain printer/opening certain documents to complex issues facing my account as a whole. Every time that I have contacted Cygnus for assistance, they have promptly and patiently discussed the matter with me, identified a solution, and ensured the solution worked as intended and I was all set to continue working.

Most of my issues have been for accessing our systems while working remotely or problems connecting to our printers. For others in the office, it is usually a quick fix; however, because I have a Mac laptop, I'm generally on the phone with Cygnus for multiple sessions before the issue gets resolved.

**What do you like best about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

I do like that they usually get ahold of you within the hour of sending along an issue. And everyone there is super nice and I know they're doing everything they can to resolve issues.

**What do you dislike about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

As I've said, I dislike that every person I've talked to admits that they don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to Apple products. I know I'm not the only person at the office with a Mac, so I would hope that at least one person there could help me. In the last few months I haven't even reached out to Cygnus when I've had issues, I've gone to someone in our Engineering department.

I actually haven't used Cygnus recently because it's taken so long to get issues resolved in the past. I'm sure it's very beneficial for others in the office, but I haven't had a similar experience.

Our office hired Cygnus to manage our computers and network

That Cygnus is always available to address and attempt to resolve any issues that arise immediately.

Some of the technical issues have not been adequately resolved.  For example, I experienced a problem with my laptop freezing while using a webcam.  Cygnus suggested plugging the camera directly into my laptop as opposed to the docking station, which has helped, but did not completely resolve the problem.

For the most part, our office computers and network have functioned properly after Cygnus came on board.  Issues that have arisen have consistently been addressed promptly.

Cygnus has helped with setting up a laptop for use, setting up a laptop docking station, dealing with remote connectivity issues, installing software, resetting passwords, etc.

**What do you like best about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

I typically find that Cygnus responds quickly to acknowledge my request and provides a quick resolution.

**What do you dislike about Cygnus Systems Inc. IT Solutions?**

I've only had one negative experience where there was an office-wide issue, and after Cygnus resolved the larger issues, I was still having some issues, but my ticket was closed. This was later resolved but it was frustrating at the time.

If you have been frustrated with an unresponsive or slow IT service provider, give Cygnus a try.

Typically minor issues (connectivity, log-ins or password issues, etc). The benefits are that I can call or email, and there is an entire team that can respond.

Whenever I have experienced any technical problems, Cygnus has been fast and efficient in addressing the issue and getting me back to work.  Cygnus has also been an integral part of ensuring that the entire company maintains a satisfactory level of cyber security.

Cygnus offers fast response times most of the time and all of the workers are easy to work with and get in touch with.

I don't like having connectivity issues but Cygnus has been able to resolve most matters fairly quickly.

We are solving connectivity issues mostly. I am a VPN user and this has proven to be the most problematic matter I have experienced, but that Cygnus has helped me resolve.

Password reset issue - company mandated password reset didn't 'cascade' to all systems.  I changed my password when prompted by the system as I had in the past.  After a week I was having issues with certain systems and the new password I'd created wasn't being accepted.  So I called the helpdesk for support and Kevin was able to quickly diagnose the issue and get my new password accepted.

Fast, easy and friendly.  I was up and running in a few minutes.

Nothing on they Cygnus end.  I think we're reset our passwords too often but that's not your fault

Compared to our previous solutions provider there just seems to be less overall issues and resolutions are much quicker.

Cygnus got my home computer connected to my work server so that I didn't have to bring my laptop home with me every night.  It made working remotely, at a moment's notice, easy and allowed me to keep up with my workload.

Quick access to customer service.  They get in and fix my issues quickly and let me move on with my day.  Not an overabundance of small talk unless I initiate it.  They understand that I am there to fix a problem, not talk about what I am doing next weekend

Nothing.  Tech Support has not once caused me any issues.

When setting up my remote laptop, Kyle was able to resolve the issue quickly. The fact that I was able to connect with him again once I got to the office to ensure I was setup was a plus, usually you have to speak to someone different and get them up to speed on the issue.

We were having a lot of downtime with our emails, so they changed up our email to Microsoft 365, and after that has been completed, we have not had any issues.

Cygnus has helped to solve connection issues when working from home. This benefits me from not having to drive into the office to complete the task I was working on.
