I like that chatting with colleagues is easier than using any other apps. Also, the customer service is a lot easier to access Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike as of so far. If anything comes up i'm sure the customer service will be ontop of it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best features are the ability to create groups, communicate within the groups, and reward team members through the chat Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The servers will disconnect and lag frequently. This lag causes messages not to send or images/videos not to load often. I encounter this issue 2-5 times per week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can get a message out to our team in seconds, and if I need to, I can add a required response. Every team member can get the source's message, so there is no confusion or missed communication because the employee wasn't working or they weren't told. It is also a great way to recognize individuals for good work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have around 100 restaurants, and sometimes it is hard to find an individual employee because they use a nickname instead of their real name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Crew is an easy messenger app that lets teammates message one another very much like Facebook Messenger does. There's a smartphone app, but you can also access it on your computer or tablet. You can comment and react to different posts or easily start a private conversation with a specific team member. You'll get alerts when new posts are added or people react to your post. Like Messenger, you can see who's viewed your post and who's reacted. Your team can have various chat rooms for different functions (i.e. one for questions, one for announcements, one for status updates). There's also a file system built in that functions similarly to Dropbox or Google Drive and allows admins to share documents with the group that they can reference at any time. You can add gifs, photos, or videos, but my group doesn't have much need for these functions, so I can't comment on their quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I'll receive several alerts on my phone and when I click on one to open the app, it will take me to the room where the post I clicked on from the alert is, but I've occasionally missed a post n another room that had come in at the same time. It's not a huge deal, because I could just get in the habit of checking all rooms before closing the app, but I wish that maybe the notifications were sorted by room and there was a setting option to not clear an alert until I'd opened that room.
I wish that there was the capability to create a room with a select group of co-workers. There are group chats with everyone on the team, or you can have a one-on-one chat with a teammate, but if a handful of people are working on a project together, I haven't found a way to create a room with just those few people. It's either one or all.
The reactions are a bit odd. There's a lot of reactions, like confetti, high-five, gold medal, etc, and they all have a specific thing they're each meant to say. Example: a thumbs-up reaction means "thanks," and when someone reacts to your post with a thumbs up you'll get an alert that "[person] said thanks." Then there's a "gold star" reaction which you can purchase to give to people as special recognition. If you give someone a gold star, there will be an announcement to the chat that the person received a gold star from you. I just don't understand the point of the gold star. Seems like an odd money grab. People don't get anything special for a gold star other than the recognition post about it. I personally don't see the point of giving out a gold star instead of just a gold medal reaction. That said, you don't need to purchase/use the gold stars, so it's not an annoyance, just sort of a pointless feature from my perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to reach any of my employees directly as well as them being able to reach me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app continually freezes and doesn't allow us to clear messages that have been read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The free version of Crew has been enough for our company, and for a tiny business like ours, that's fantastic. We are able to schedule events and allow our contractors to bid for them with a click. It's so simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They used to have a feature where it would push a notification when you were scheduled for a shift, and they got rid of that feature in a recent update. We miss that feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
