Latencies and data staleness occasionally during network partitions and heady load times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The query service for interacting with db is so powerful and awesome. Multiple Views can be created for your needs. Various indexes can be created to make querying fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a scope for improvement in time taken for node rebalancing and syncing. Time taken for indexes can be reduced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am using Couchbase as the main database of my current project. But great thing is that when it comes to storing temporary or using cache-based database, I don't have to use another solution, Couchbase have already the memcached solution. Using the memcache style buckets provided by Couchbase was much more efficient and flexible than memcached.
Another amazing feature which I get is, I don't need to store data in another storage for implementing elastic sesrch. which is very convenient for the development purposes. It also has some languages support which exactly I needed for the Full Text Search implementation.
The cross data center replication allows me to keep the system running all the time by configuring replication and data is always available.
I didn't need to learn another quey language, cause the N1QL is so much like MySQL and PostgreSQL which were my previous skills.
Making Ad-hoc queries using the analytics service was very flexible, specially as it is possible to run on separate nodes in a cluster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Basically there is nothing I dislike about Couchbase. But for the first time it was hard for me to setup channel filter. But its easier now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Optimized database calls back to on-prem utilizing cloud hybrid model. Also the Caching and Session Management dramatically reduce our common database calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Inconsistent memory, CPU consumption pattern which took some time optimize resulting in outages during large calls. However, we were able to resolve these issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy to use, with options that are flexible to customize and meet the needs/requirements. Other competitors have limitations whereas more can be done here if you take the time to understand how to use the available tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing specific I dislike about couchbase. Perhaps more documentation could be available and interactive training user interfaces might make it easier to start using the tools much quicker versus having no experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are currently using couchbase server in our production. It's memory based architecture clearly gives it a bigger advantage over other alternatives out there is market. It's fast, easily scalable and provides consistent data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When i was learning couchbase during my initial days i found the documentation not that much helpful, had to take an external course for learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really love the N1QL module, which allows you to use SQL like syntax to work with documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't say I dislike it, but I'd like for better docker support, since right now it's a bit difficult to automate the setup of a docker container. I'd also like to see an in memory version of couchbase to use for testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I discovered how fast and efficient couchbase is when we used indexing for query efficiency. And the result was brilliant..The query performance drastically bettered when the bucket had massive records. Native queries and stringified queries are easy to be created as syntax is much like mysql.. Couchbase UI makes it very flexible to work and handle with buckets. Until now the only con I discovered is the tutorials are very few on internet regarding native and stringified queries or for couchbase concepts in deep.. The documentation explains the concepts quite well..but does not have enough examples and we need to go through it more than once to understand it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
