I like the auto features included. The sync with my bank accts and auto-generated LSO reports are a godsend. It has saved my practice from the beginning and put me on a good path. I love the macros options to create your own documents automatically pulling in the client info, etc. I don't have to re-invent the wheel each time. Overall this program has saved me time and money. No sync option w/ phone calls on android. To have the option to pull client phone calls into matters via sync option with the phone would be amazing and such a time saver/money maker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about CosmoLex is how easy it is to use and implement in our office. I also like how accessible it is from anywhere. Whether you're at the office or on the go, it allows you to work seamlessly from your computer, making it incredibly convenient for managing your practice no matter where you are. The program glitches from time to time, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, you can't access documents from files on the app when using your phone, which limits its functionality when you're away from your computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Superior customer service. Straightforward bookkeeping, accounting and time docketing. Company is responsive and always improving the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Too many options and steps for entering client names and contacts. Client portal is not as functional as other file sharing programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very much common sense and intuitive with the interface - it actually makes legal accounting enjoyable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike about CosmoLex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Task and practice management. It allows me to standardise how I work on files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very slow. It regularly freezes, especially when contacting customer support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All-in-one solution software that is solid, robust and full-featured. We were looking for an alternative to both PcLaw (Accounting) and Amicus Attorney (CRM, file management and document assembly). Cosmolex replaced them both and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting options and reporting formatting need improvement; Otherwise, not much to dislike; a few quirks (default tabs that I wish I could change, a little bit more intuitive way to bill multiple parties or different parties in a matter, allocating a single time entry to multiple lawyers). But those are tolerable (and in our experience, likely to be remedied) in light of overall functionality and performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Helps me to keep track of my accounting and time I need to go to court. Email integration with clients and calendar integration. It is a great way to send my client invoices and request documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
no legal writing aspect so that it can help autofill my briefs and have briefs ready to go. Also if there was a portal that could allow contracts and payment together that would be great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I can record time and disbursements without having to make an invoice right away.
I also really like, that if I have a problem I can easily search for help in the help center or talk to someone on the live chat.
I like the setup of everything. Bank Reconciliations are so easy and I like the layout. I like that I can create a deposit slip. I like the accounts payable and being able to save recurring bills.
I like that you can search the program so well for things; check amounts, client names, etc. I like the whole printing check layout. I like that I can still work in Cosmolex while my report is generated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the random glitches...
The client file is all balanced but the generated report says an outstanding $0.01
When posting accounts there's a $0.01 glitch, so sometimes we have to do a discount of $0.01
Sometimes it is hard to delete a duplicate client. It'll say "Something went wrong" and then I can't delete that duplicate client at all. The same thing happens sometimes to delete a Chart of Accounts.
I wish there was a way to avoid duplicates or amalgamate clients together.
I wish when you're in all matters and working on an individual file when you go back... I wish it would go back and be on the file you're working on. For example, I'm posting an account, then depositing money but oops there's no trust account attached to the file. I have to go back to All Matters and search the file I was working on. It keeps track of the file numbers and automatically assigns the correct number to clients that have multiple files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is an administrative assistant's nightmare - the calendar is the worst. It does not allow an administrative assistant to see appointments made by others. The program forces administrative assistants to work for it rather than the program working for the administrative assistants. It is slow and convoluted - there shouldn't be 3 different locations I have to remember to enter a simple disbursement based on what type of disbursement it is. Constantly having to edit profiles because the system rearranges names to its liking, not as we need them. My god, the system is SLOW, CLUNKY, and FRUSTRATING.
