Top Rated Content Harmony Alternatives

Content Harmony is my go-to brief-building tool. It saves me hours every week, especially now that all my writers are up to speed on how to use it. I love the fact that it almost does all our research for us (at least for SEO-heavy pieces) by pulling the most important competitor content for the selected KW.
All I have to do is go through the KW report, find relevant H1s and H2s, identify interesting angles, and mark them up. There's no digging around, googling, and trying to guess at the KWs to find the most relevant information - it's all there. Once I'm happy with my research, I switch over to the Content Brief section and it's all already there, ready to be sent out to my writers! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to write here - I feel like this is nitpicking. But the Content Grader tool tends to be a bit slow if you decide to actually write in it. So I don't do that - I write in docs and simply copy-paste stuff to the Content Grader once I'm ready to evaluate it. So it's an easy issue to side-step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how great quality briefings I can create to clients and their copywriters and how much time it saves me for topic and kw research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Content optimization capabilities are not as great as surfer apps's - if I'd had that Content Harmony would be my single all-in tool for content research, creation AND optimization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've tried many tools for creating content briefs, and Content Harmony is easily my favorite. It's easy to use and organize briefs. I can get a lot of useful information in the brief quickly without a lot of superfluous stuff. The tool makes excellent suggestions for outlining and formatting an article. I like that I can buy credits and they stay in my account for at least 90 days too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much I can think of. It's not an all-in-one tool, so it doesn't do everything SEO like many tools out there. But that's not what I was looking for anyway, so that's not really a downside for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy the platform is to use for creating a brief.
The level of information that they pull back from the SERPs to help ensure that our content matches what already ranks is so invaluable since I can't always help my content team optimize all of the articles they create every day.
One thing I think they do better than the competition is that it provides ideas for what images to include for a content piece. Other platforms just tell you to include some images, but Content Harmony provides a handful of ideas and also pulls in some examples from the SERPs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared to some of the other platforms, the only thing I'd say is that their price per brief is a bit higher than most other platforms that are out there - but you do get a little more value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love all the resources and data Content Harmony is able to pull into the interface in order to start content ideation. It makes creating a brief incredibly more efficient and helps you come up with ideas in a streamlined manner. The ability to create your own brief templates for your needs is such a great feature, as well as just having general templates to work off of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not so much of a dislike, more of a product request/update. It would be really nice if we could somehow connect Content Harmony to our CMS so that we can better categorize and have a content library. As well, the Content Grader would be awesome if we could reference content based on a URL vs. having to input the content. Having the Content Grader integrated into a CMS would be a great addition, so you can make edits within platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Detailed keyword research helps pull everything together in 1 place of very informed analysis. It lays the groundwork of what we were going to write about and then helps with the overlapping keywords/questions/topics and images. The content grader is fabulous for helping with its recommendations and highlighting the topics/keywords used along the way. It's made writing a bit easier for someone like me who has trouble with where to start with writing, so Content Harmony is a really unblocker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Content Grader is a bit slow and bulky. I've been writing directly IN it and trying to move paragraphs/sentences around got a bit bumpy. Instead, I've been writing in Google docs and then copying it over to the Content Grader and back and forth that way.
[Edited] They just added this a few days after posting this review, thanks to Content Harmony!!!! --> I'd also love to see some starters to help on the content briefs, just a suggestion on where to start based on the comprehensive research that Content Harmony provides. It was easy to learn how to use the tool, and the range of competitive insights covered makes putting together a robust content brief pretty painless. We still customize content briefs for each client significantly, but Content Harmony's briefs create a great starting point and help automate the time-consuming initial steps. No complaints at this point. I guess it would be ideal if I could go further with designing our own templates, but honestly that may be a feature in the platform that I just haven't discovered yet... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
