Consolto is easy to set up, easy to use, and provides a quick way for potential and current clients to communicate with me. It provides multiple ways for me to interact with clients. The widget is highly customizable. I love that it's HIPAA compliant, since this is necessary for my work. Customer service has been very supportive and helpful. There really isn't much I dislike. If I had to pick something, it's that I can't figure out how to lower the volume of notification sounds independent of other sounds on my system. It seems like they can only be turned on and off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have noticed users are more likely to submit info on the webforms and wait for a human reply than to use our chatbot that may be able to assist them. I like that Consolto puts the real human employees right there on the website.
We can group employees into departments. Customer Support, Sales, Etc.
Employees can easily share views with customers.
We can view the internal/client facing views simultaneously to make setting it up simple.

I am a healthcare professional and it is so hard to find HIPPA compliant tools. Consulto has HIPPA compliant chat, video recording , video calls and team sharing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we first purchased and installed Consulto, we were big fans. It is a way that website visitors can do instant chat (typical on many websites) or do an instant video meeting (like Zoom or Teams.) However, it didn't really work. Very few people actually requested the instant video chat. (Less than .01% of visitors.) Even though the service didn't work for us, I was still a big fan of the company and the technology... That is... until I tried to cancel the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you sign up for the service, you agree to an annual subscription on auto-renew. We paid for a full year of service upfront, but the service never really worked for us. So, after a month or so, we pulled it off our website and canceled the service. 10 months later, I received an invoice for the next year. Seconds later, I received a receipt from PayPal for the $1100 charge. I sent an email to them and received a response saying that I could cancel the service at any time from inside my account. I logged in to the account but my account wasn't active (I had canceled the service almost a year ago.) There we no invoices or charges on the account. So, there seemed to be some disconnect between their website and their PayPal account. I responded back to the email saying that I didn't have an active account and to please refund the fee. (Keep in mind, this is the fee for the FUTURE year, not for past service.) I received no response. So, I filed a dispute with PayPal. A week later, I got an email from the CEO, , apologizing for the delay and saying he was on holiday. He said he would look into it. A few days later, he replied back saying that he didn't usually give refunds, but in this case, he would if I removed the PayPal dispute. The response seemed odd. As we exchanged emails back and forth, the cordial nature changed dramatically. I began to get angry because although they had promised to refund the fee, they never did. Eventually, the CEO sent me an email saying, that I was rude by sending an email to his team saying "Please cancel and refund." The whole process was very frustrating. So, far, I still haven't received a refund for the future year of service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I widget for us is "one" of the best tools; especially with working with VA's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hard to say dislike because I'm sure they will add it in the future soon but the ability to have multiple people in the Meeting. But given the several other advantages; that is a small price to pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Appointment scheduling is a handy feature, and for those interested it is even possible to manage payments directly in the tool.
Team members can respond to customers simultenaously.

- languages of the backend (only English for now)
- create different widgets/team widgets for various sites (for the moment, all websites have the same widget) ---> big point of improvement needed! They plan to implement sub-account management for this.

Chat center dashboard could use a refresh. Names of the visitors get cut off, only displaying a small portion. I had some trouble with sound for alert notifications, but support helped with that. Their app for Andriod is not quite ready for prime time yet as it causes some issues. They are working on a fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
