What do you like best about ConnectWise PSA?

If you have the most basic question to ask support bout, you may get what you're looking for out of their online support chatbot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ConnectWise PSA?

This is by far the buggiest, most convoluted piece of software (let alone PSA) that I have ever used. The dashboard is completely useless. It doesn't refresh regularly, so you have to constantly go back to outlook to know whether you actually have an appointment. The other information is next to useless because there's no way to actually show service boards on it. If you want to find out if you have a ticket, you have to go looking for it. There are more Help links on it than useful widgets. And that's just the dashboard.

If you want to configure anything you have to go to service tables, not configurator screens AND, you have to know what you're looking for before you try and configure it.

Many of the default connectors don't work (out of the box) with anything other than MS Exchange of Office 365. You need to get a tech to help you through the configuration.

It's massively over-complicated for tasks that should be really simple and straightforward.

The contract has NO CLIENT termination language... BEWARE!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ConnectWise PSA:

If you decide to go with ConnectWise, 100% make sure that you include a termination clause that allows you to terminate the contract at any time. Before you sign anything, try at least two other PSA AFTER you try ConnectWise Manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ConnectWise PSA solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were looking for an RMM product and an integrated PSA. ConnectWise just happened to have both and they said it was "integrated" out of the box. Perhaps, we have different ideas of what being integrated actually means? We have spent more time dealing with product issues and customer service than implementing the product or, servicing our customers for that matter, which is sad. What do you like best about ConnectWise PSA?

ConnectWise Manage is an easy-to-understand but powerful PSA tool that captures all the relevant information that most MSPs need. It's not perfect, but it does a GREAT JOB! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We track all aspects of the MSP and VAR teams in our firm, so we can manage everything from subscriptions to services to projects to sales and more. What do you like best about ConnectWise PSA?

Connectwise Manage is an excellent PSA tool. It would allow the techs and clients to easily communicate and have all the information saved within the tickets. This feature also made it easy to track the time techs spent on tickets and quickly identify repeat issues due to the integration with Solarwins N-Able, our RMM tool.

The calendars within Manage were also great. They allowed us to identify where the techs were in the event we needed to reroute them to an emergency.

Connectwise Manage also made billing a breeze. The integration with some of our vendors as well as Quickbooks made billing our customers second nature. Having the bills come from one provider rather than countelss different vendors really made reviewes quotes, bills and budgets significantly easier for our clients as well as our staff. What do you dislike about ConnectWise PSA?

There honestly was not much that I disliked about Connectwise Manage. I think the product is excellent and their support knowledgeable and friendly as well. If I had to make a suggestion, I would like to see a better Gantt feature. When attempting to plan out projects, we would spend a significant amount of time in that section. I would check the current products you are already using and see if they integrate with Connectwise Manage or know if it's in the road map. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ConnectWise PSA solving and how is that benefiting you?

We utilized Connectwise Manage to clean up a lot of the noise from our RMM tool. Instead of getting alerts to our phones and email constantly, we leveraged Conectwise Manage Service Boards as a silo for all of our tickets. It made ticket tracking effortless.

We also would create boards for our partners that used us as suplemental IT. This would allow us to transfer tickets to their internal IT staffs board. Our clients that used this feature really enjoyed it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ConnectWise PSA?

You can appreciate this type of program to trigger a wide variety of activities; it is very fluid and has been a great success in locating an optimal performance of tasks in multiple departments. What do you like best about ConnectWise PSA?

We like the features of ConnectWise and the integration's with other software package we use daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ConnectWise PSA?

I don't know where to start, but here we go. The customer service/support of ConnectWise has gone straight to the crapper since ConnectWise was sold, in the days of the older ownership, support was great, the product actually worked correctly. Now it takes a act of congress to get anything to happen and it takes a week or two to get anything resolved. We had issues where the ConnectWise mail filters have blocked our internal email and external for clients, to technicians not being able to submit time all because of changes these mental midget make to the systems and then they blame you for the mistakes they make. I've spent hours on the chat re inventing the wheel on our end, just to find out that the issues was inside their data base. We have technician in the field, ConnectWise does an update and none of our mobile apps work any longer, their solution just uninstall and re installed the app, it will fix it. Well, number one these are field technicians they don't typically have the time to do this during the field appointments. Number two, when they did this it didn't fix the issue and now we wait for the non existent support from ConnectWise. I could go on and on about the issues we have and have had with ConnectWise. Right now we are not solving any issues with ConnectWise that we couldn't get from another product, this is why we have already moved our RMM away from ConnectWise. But now it looks like we are going to have to move our PSA product as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ConnectWise PSA?

I really like playing cheese because it helps me to have full control of the process of performing my job tasks. It adapts very well to any operating system and integrates with marketing sales program in a feasible way. The price is extremely affordable for users or small businesses. We have completed many projects at a totally adequate and decentralized pace of the activities that must be carried out constantly. Therefore, he considered that the program has benefited departments with high work flow because it softens a little bit the responsibility of the activities and advanced projects. keep track of client comms and ticket management. The best thing that came out of using it was we were able to cusotmize out phone system to refernce specific DID phone numbers and a connect contact form would popup giving us info as we talked Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
