What do you like best about Conceptboard?

The incredible flexibility, many possibilities, and at the same time easily manageable. Unlike many other tools, I like the "infinite" whiteboard, which does not limit me. Communication with my team and freelancers works smoothly, and the learning curve is absolutely manageable even for newly invited members, so we can always quickly work together on a project. What do you dislike about Conceptboard?

Sure, if I were forced to think about it, I might find a small issue, but I've been using CB for over 2 years now, since the very beginning, and I'm still very enthusiastic. Above all, the support is just really brilliant! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Conceptboard:

In summary, after more than 2 years, I can say I am more than thrilled. I have tried the competitors before, which are also great - however, the price/performance ratio at Conceptboard convinced me. My questions to support are answered promptly, the site is constantly evolving and fulfills everything needed for conceptualizing, collaborating, and being creative. I can only warmly recommend CB! What do you like best about Conceptboard?

Conceptboard was recommended to me by a client. Now, my company uses it with different clients and also for online courses. I also use it on my ipad, which is super helpful, especially to make notes during meetings with customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conceptboard?

If you have a free account, you will constantly see a pop-up page suggesting upgrading to the paid version. Even though it doesn't prevent you from using the app, it can be a bit annoying. "Conceptboard allows me to teach students online in real time."

What do you like best about Conceptboard?

My students don't have to pay anything to work with me. I can pay for the service and have students who live anywhere collaborate with me. I have students who live in China, as well as the USA. I live in the USA. I can talk with students using Zoom or Skype, and they can meet me at our whiteboard (the ConceptBoard) to do the work. Conceptboard has revolutionized how I can teach online. What do you dislike about Conceptboard?

The only thing missing from ConceptBoard is an equation editor. I teach math and science, and doing superscripts (exponents) is incredibly annoying.

I have not had a lot of chemistry students use Conceptboard with me yet, but doing the subscripts is going to drive me nuts.

I know how to make circles, but I wonder if there is a way to simulate a compass. I figured out how to make circles and copy and paste them so I have many copies of them to use and arrange for geometry. I can't show students how to use a compass, though. I can show them how to find the center of the circle, but when I make a circle, the center is not obvious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Conceptboard solving and how is that benefiting you?

I can tutor/teach students in any class I teach. I work for an online school, and because I have a place at Conceptboard to create a space for us to collaborate, I put copies of our curriculum on our whiteboard so I can go over it with students. It lets me annotate on the curriculum that I have taken screenshots of and uploaded. It also enables students to write their answers on the board and show me their work.

I see which students are motivated to learn and which ones are just there and want me to spoonfeed them. I love it when I can tell my students who live in China that Conceptboard is not blocked, and yes, they can do this work with me.

I can put any copies of our curriculum online without worrying about copyright infringement. The only people who see the curriculum are people who have already paid to use it.

I can set up whiteboards once and "clone" them to be used with multiple students. I've put all of the assignments for geometry online so that when I get students who only want to do the assignments, I can make a board for them. They can show their work on the board, and I can see what they do when I grade it.

I have figured out how to use circles to make isosceles or equilateral triangles, which is important because my students need to learn how to use the radii of circles to make polygons. I can show them how to do it. Having the grid in the background helps count off blocks so they can "measure" the lengths of the lines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
