What do you like best about Comcast Business?

They provide internet service to our building. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comcast Business?

The internet has gone out multiple times since we started the service.

We have had a technician out here once, which the customer service people over the phone said was cancelled so they couldn't see any notes about the service.

They also still have us listed as the old business despite calling in multiple times letting them know that business is no longer here.

The ONLY person that has been helpful was the technician that came to look at our cables. So far that's it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Comcast Business solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Comcast Business?

Speeds were good when it was up. but if you average in my downtime, the speed was not worth it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wouldn't say I liked the fact that the downtime was unacceptable. Customer service was a run around to get things scheduled. I suffered a setback during covid and had to terminate the service. Absolutely no help in resolving an early termination fee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Comcast Business:

With all of the options available for Internet without contracts, I advise you to explore those and avoid a contract with early termination fees if possible. It's obvious that Comcast was not willing to assist me even with Covid hardships causing my need for termination. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Comcast Business solving and how is that benefiting you?

Comcast Business is refusing to transfer my internet and phone service to the new owner of my business. Their customer service representatives make all kinds of promises to take care of the problem, but do not follow through. Two have even promised to call me back within 1 to 2 hours, but neither one did. The buyer and I have both been working on this for almost two weeks without resolution. What do you like best about Comcast Business?

They are quite easy to work with. Comcast Business is always a phone call away, unlike the customer service provided by so many companies these days. I do not recall having to wait more than a few minutes for them to answer the phone and knowledgeable people handled my questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With the pandemic, like most working adults, we are working remotely which is most likely your home. Comcast has afforded me the opportunity to have my work line forwarded to my home line and/or cell phone. It was seamless to set up and so easy to use. In addition, if I am out of the office and/or have changed my work hours, I am able to apply this knowledge and the call forwarding (in this case) will begin or stop as needed. I also have turned on the voice mail feature which allows me to listen to the message or better yet, have it sent to me in an email and I can listen simply by opening the email. What do you like best about Comcast Business?

The best feature for my needs is the call forwarding and the messages being sent in email format. Easy peasy -- not complicated at all and why should it be. Comcast has it figured out! In addition, the end callers you are speaking with do not even know they have been transferred to your remote phone number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comcast Business?

I really can't say I have any dislikes or comments on improvement. To be fair, I have not had the chance to delve into the various other benefits and options they offer but I am slowly doing that by looking at one new feature a week and evaluating if I can use it and would it be beneficial. Look at all the different features Comcast has to offer -- I was very surprised when I took the time to go through all the options. It makes so many day to day things easier and reliable! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have experienced no problems with Comcast. If I need assistance, I reach out to customer support. Again, the biggest benefit is call forwarding and the messages being sent in email format. What do you like best about Comcast Business?

I don't have much to say, but their internet and uptime is reliable and always up when we need it. Support is sub-par though and their hours are very busy. They didn't fix my problem in one attempt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comcast Business?

I've been a customer of Comcast, then Comcast Business, for over 10 years. My internet connection was very slow. I decided to upgrade with Faster Internet (which was not really faster than the previous product), and the rest is history. After many techs making visits, many phone calls, and many hours, I finally got some results. It seems that the problem comes from the fact that I have 4 Motorola SB6120 modems connected to 3 Super Hubs (2 via cable, 1 via Ethernet). Since some of these modems are 4 years old, Comcast decided to send me new Arris TG862G modems. I installed the new modems and connected them to the ethernet ports on the Super Hubs. The problem was not solved. I got reliable speeds around 120-130Mbps (with peaks of 160Mbps). So, no speed boost, but at least it was not crashing anymore... But still not really "faster". I do not recommend hosting anything large or high traffic with Comcast Business because the upload speed is highly limited. It will slow down the internet for your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The internet is more reliable because it's made and built for businesses. We do host some applications on Comcast Business internet, but because of the limited and slow upload speeds, we can’t have too many clients connected and downloading from our server. I have to admit that Comcast Business has 100.00% uptime, we’ve never faced downtime. However, I realized that it can get a bit slow when too many people are using the internet. That’s why we limit the internet to employees only. The only benefit I got from them is the uptime, which is unbeatable. I can’t say much about their limited speeds because that’s the max they offer in my area. It’s occasionally good to spin up a temporary server for customers and testers to access our apps, but not recommended as you don’t want high traffic to be hitting the your business internet.
