10 out of 11 Total Reviews for CoffeePals
The programs are automated and there is little work to do on the admin side. It is simple to set up all the configurations. With the ability to sync CoffeePals with Outlook Calendar, scheduling meetings is very easy as well! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The CoffeePals bot notifications asking if you met with your match. This is a downside as there are a lot of notifications sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Excellent Microsoft Teams Integration. It plugs right into M365. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You'll need to find the right rhythm so that staff don't feel like they're being made to participate in "forced fun." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool is very easy and user-friendly! This ease of use allows for minimal pushback from the team to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found anything that I don't like about the tool yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Encourages employees to get to know each other outside of pure work interactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing I dislike about the CoffeePals software itself -- it is very well designed and easy to use. Sometimes I'm just too busy to want to have a coffee chat, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Coffeepals has really improved cross-team communication by pairing colleagues weekly for casual coffee meetups. It's been a great way to get employees to engage who wouldn't typically interact. The automated matching system streamlines the process, removing any admin work. It was easy to set up with Microsoft Teams and questions I had were promptly answered by the support team. The fixed weekly match frequency in the free plan feels too often for our small team. Having the option to adjust this feature without requiring an upgrade would be beneficial. The team have also found that they receive a lot of notifications, again the ability to change this in the free plan would be useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are using CoffeePals (free version) to enhance connection in one of our newly set up Diversity groups at work. This tool is easy to use as it's part of the Microsoft Teams platform. It provides a good nudge to set up times to meet different people every month. It also sends helpful reminders and talking points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one downside is there is no option to change frequency of matches with the free version eg the free version offers a weekly match but you have to pay if you want to decrease the frequency. This may discourage new users from trialling the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easily automated our process of matching employees to improve the sense of team and engagement. I like the additional weekly question/icebreakers that are posted to bring further engagement. Easy to interact with the app/bot directly for individual enabling/disabling and adding to specific teams/channels. The reporting on matches and their outcomes is great insight as well. Users that don't want as many notifications from the Coffee Maker (and subsequent responses) end up blocking the app which limits their participation in other functions such as matching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Coffee Pals has been a great addition to our onboarding and employee engagement strategy. With our staff being spread out across multiple countries, and with increasing use of remote workforce, connection has been challenging. Coffee Pals has allowed us to integrate new hires and connect people who normally would not have the opportunity to meet. I really enjoy the ease of meeting scheduling and the fun conversation prompts in the group. It was so easy to set up and the support team has been so responsive. There are some really neat features not included in the free version. However, we have been using the free version for quite a few months and are having a blast with it. Plan to update in the new year so we can have all the customized options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CoffeePals allows our team to engage with one another and since most of our team works remotely and we have several departments within our organization, we were glad to find a way for team members to connect in a meaningful way with those outside their department. We appreciate that the CoffeePals platform automatically matches team members together, so it’s fairly hands off for the admins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We haven't run into anything we don't like about CoffeePals yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a formalized system so you don't feel awkward about reaching out to someone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have as much time as I'd like to do a coffee chat. However, I definitely feel it's worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
