The one-click apply process is a black box, currently. I did not hear anything, whether postitive or negative, on 95% of my applications. I was a little worred my applications were never making it to the hiring companies. After talking to Arc, they thought I may have priced myself too high. Which is confusing, because my asking salary was within the stated salary range for most postings I applied to.
Their system might be inflating the salary range shown in the job titles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've used Arc successfully to find Freelancing work and it's been a pleasure to work with the team they've put together. They answered all of my questions and everything happened on the spans of time they mentioned.
Also I think their vetting process is pretty thorough and fair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I had to point something out, I'd say that due to the distributed nature of the team it sometimes takes a day or two to get a reply, but honestly it hasn't bothered me as I've had answers every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From the very beginning of my interactions with Arc.dev, I could tell that the individuals answering my questions were human beings. They gave me suggestions on tailoring my resume to showcase my experience correctly. And they even offered me online mentorship; with again an actual human person. There is always room for improvement. My subjection is simple: keep your humanity as a priority, and you'll have an edge over AI based platforms that seem willing to discard candidates a son as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To be really honest there isnt much to not like, maybe the opportunity of not being able to make a career within them, since your hire will be intermediated by them and the are not a consultancy agency with relocation and etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Arc opened the door to a world of exceptional developers from diverse backgrounds. By expanding Stem's precense to countries like Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Brazil, we gain access to developers with strong technical skills and unique perspectives. All of our Arc hires have been instrumental in driving innovation within our company. One hire, in particular, was even promoted to Engineering Manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would love if Arc provided candidates' emails up front. If it's a matter of security, perhaps candidates' emails would initially stay hidden but then revealed once a potential employeer matched with them. RIght now, I have to DM the candidate directly and then wait for them to respond before I can set up the first interview. I have to have their email address so I can set up interviews and track their information in our applicant tracking system). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that they provide someone to act as the middle-man between developers and clients. Consistent communication and accountability are hard to achieve with remote developers, so having a dedicated manager who is already built into the price is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They want you to have long contracts, which makes the service not ideal for small projects. I like having a relationship with a developer, like Arc allows, but I do not always have something for them to do. I wish it was more freelance or singe job based rather than a number of hours. What I like best about Arc is its ability to curate a vast network of top-tier developers, offering a diverse pool of highly skilled and qualified candidates for various tech roles. The platform's personalized approach to matching companies with developers based not only on technical prowess but also cultural fit and project requirements ensures that businesses find the perfect fit for their teams. The user-friendly interface and efficient communication tools simplify the hiring process, streamlining interactions with candidates and saving valuable time. Moreover, Arc's exceptional support team adds to the overall positive experience, always ready to assist and guide throughout the entire hiring journey. With Arc, finding exceptional talent for scaling up our operations has become a seamless and rewarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Arc's curated talent pool and personalized matching process offer significant value, the cost factor might deter some businesses from fully leveraging the platform's capabilities. It is crucial for organizations to carefully assess their hiring requirements, budget constraints, and the potential return on investment before committing to using Arc.
