Top Rated Clutch.co Alternatives

The concept is great. That's honestly about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Terrible company, they boast their badge program as a means for fools like me to drive clients to their site and leave reviews for over a year, and then discriminate and only give badges to who they want to give them to, even if you're ranked #1 in a dozen categories. SHAME ON MATT AND SHAME ON CLUTCH. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had trusted that this web directory would put us in front of potential customers, but instead found only fake/spammy leads come our way. when we contected them to resulve this they told us to change some settings, this did not help, after 8 months working with them we asked for our account to be put on hold, should have asked for a full refund, they denied us and insisted we needed to conitnue updating. spent over $10,000 for no leads and bad customer service Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
no results, no help, just excuse after excuse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Poor customer service and very unresponsive, failed to answer various basic questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Based on numerous Clutch 5 star recommendations, I hired a company for SEO work. I worked with this company for 5 months, spent a fair bit of money, and got minimal results. When I submitted a review of this SEO company to Clutch, they wanted more information in order to list it as a "verified" review. I sent them
numerous relevant screenshots proving that I worked with this company. And they still would not verify this review. After half a dozen unhelpful emails back and forth, I asked them to specifically tell me what they want to verify my review and/or to call me. I was told that they cannot tell me what they need to verify a review because their "review team" "keeps that information close to their chest," and "they don't do phone support call meetings."
This is a disfunctional outfit, and they have no business doing any reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was easy place to review for a company. They asked deatailed information about the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you are a company looking for a platform to gather reviews I think you would be better off utilizing a different platform. Otherwise you are putting your company in serious risk. Any negative review cannot be updated no matter how you address the situation.
As a user/reviewer, I have been unable to update my review. I've tried multiple times to submit updates to my review and every request is denied. I don't think it is fair that you cannot update a review, even at the reviewer's request. Most other platforms allow the reviewer to update or delete their reviews if the situation is resolved with the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of clutch is the questions they ask , Secondly they verify each review over the call and even cross examin the review with vendor , Just like G2 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that I dislike about clutch review calls is that they use VOIP or some services, So If I have referred clutch 10 Clients to give me a review, 5 will not pick call from clutch since it is marked SPam by truecaller Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They have an excellent team who advocate for quality agency work. I love that clients can search for exactly what type of specialized service they need to support their projects. The process of interviewing clients for reviews builds a lot of trust for agencies and solopreneurs to get their work vetted and there's no better way to build trust than with this type of transparency. The process of getting a review published can take some time, because it's contingent on the client providing an interview to confirm what services were done, and their experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As we've a marketing agency we will have so many requirements like graphic design, landing page design, etc. We use clutch for this to find the best partner for us to handle these requirements. Clutch.co is one of the best out there in terms of listing the b2b service-based agencies with right details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've used clutch.co and we use it most of the time. I like all the details except the Agency size details of the companies are a little bit inaccurate. But it's not a big problem, we just use LinkedIn to check the actual size of the agencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The amount of information related to companies and their services is neatly arranged and well represented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The category filters could be more refined which would help get better and non overlapping results Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clutch's process of verifying customer reviews places it leagues above any other service. Their support and SEO value are unmatched for agencies of any size when providing new customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The search results are not user-friendly as they could be. The page design has lagged behind modern standards, ut the quality of information makes up for it in spades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clean UI, dashboard, client service and ease of client review facilitation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They recently added categories that have no bearing on the quality of work being done at the vendor level. Awards, social media presence, etc. Some shops simply don't enter awards shows, and to penalize ranking because of lack of awards is laughable. There are so many easy to get awards, based ranking on this is laughable. They also want you to upload your portfolio to clutch and they assess your social media interaction. All this makes their play for SEO boost trump any type of objective portal for potential buyers. Lastly, their tiered pay for listing can put anyone at the top of the list, regardless of the quality of work. We're bummed as they used to seem like one of the good aggregators that have become in vogue lately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact they accually call your customers to get the feedback from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that anyone can pay to be "top firm", and how they would put other agency profiles in the middle of yours and ask for money to remove them (cost USD 1500). Given the fact that this was supposed to be a "Trust based" website, that their VP was formed around "Real" feedback etc.. this is such a malpractice practice that is the exact opposite of their Value Prop. The website lost its purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
