I believe their traffic has suffered in the AI era. **What do you dislike about Clutch.co?** First of all, the platform doesn't allow you to self-serve in meaningful ways. You can't edit your billing or make new bids on listings without talking to somebody and their account managers and customer service staff are terrible. If you need something that doesn't involve buying a new listing it's nearly impossible to reach your point of contact. Case in-point, I've been trying to cancel or switch my listing and have been ghosted by my account manager for 2 weeks now. They've also failed to implemented changes to our listings that I've requested on calls and have billed me incorrectly multiple times. The platform is also overpriced. Their pricing is 2-4x higher than other platforms. Finally, their review submission procedure is terrible. You can't import reviews from other platforms and our clients always complained about how long the Clutch reviews would take them to write. We had multiple clients bounce before finished the review process, something that never happened on other platforms. I worked with this company for 5 months, spent a fair bit of money, and got minimal results. When I submitted a review of this SEO company to Clutch, they wanted more information in order to list it as a "verified" review. I sent them numerous relevant screenshots proving that I worked with this company. And they still would not verify this review. After half a dozen unhelpful emails back and forth, I asked them to specifically tell me what they want to verify my review and/or to call me. I was told that they cannot tell me what they need to verify a review because their "review team" "keeps that information close to their chest," and "they don't do phone support call meetings." Otherwise you are putting your company in serious risk. Any negative review cannot be updated no matter how you address the situation. As a user/reviewer, I have been unable to update my review. I've tried multiple times to submit updates to my review and every request is denied. I don't think it is fair that you cannot update a review, even at the reviewer's request. Awards, social media presence, etc. Some shops simply don't enter awards shows, and to penalize ranking because of lack of awards is laughable. There are so many easy to get awards, based ranking on this is laughable. They also want you to upload your portfolio to clutch and they assess your social media interaction. All this makes their play for SEO boost trump any type of objective portal for potential buyers. Lastly, their tiered pay for listing can put anyone at the top of the list, regardless of the quality of work. We're bummed as they used to seem like one of the good aggregators that have become in vogue lately. **What problems is Clutch.co solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. Quite the opposite. Now we are solving the problem of slipping rankings on their site, updating another portfolio. So they actually have added to our workload and to-do list. Often we don't have an opportunity to seek bids and we need a vendor ASAP! Clutch has a Chick Fila type of customer care. I also appreciate their support team's recommendations for ways to improve our company's profile. **What do you dislike about Clutch.co?** Clutch's traffic is relatively low for a directory site. As a result, it doesn't drive a whole lot of traffic to our website even after completing many of the recommended optimizations to our profile. **Recommendations to others considering Clutch.co:** Make sure you ask the Clutch representative what their traffic numbers are to the directory page you're trying to appear on as well as dig in to your Google Analytics to determine just how much traffic Clutch drives to your site prior to signing on for their upgraded/premium listing. **What problems is Clutch.co solving and how is that benefiting you?** Like any business, we want to increase our visibility online. As such, we appreciate that Clutch drives some traffic to our website, even if it isn't a very significant amount. ### 31. The credible reviews give prospective clients a reliable place to go to find agencies to work with. **What do you dislike about Clutch.co?** As of now, the ranking system has to do primarily with number of reviews, which makes it harder for smaller agencies with less clients to move up the ranks withour paying $$. **What problems is Clutch.co solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting our agency out on a reviews/testimonials site where prospective clients are searching. ### 32.
