I believe the most useful feature of ClockShark is actually the support staff and training tools. Overall, ClockShark is very simple to navigate. My company was reluctant to switch to electronic timekeeping because change can be difficult to implement. However, ClockShark offers excellent training articles, videos and live support so everything from the integration to training our staff was a breeze. A bonus for us is that ClockShark offers training tools in English and Spanish, and the app can actually be turned to Spanish mode. I believe this helped with our transition to the digital age and made the experience more enjoyable and less intimidating for our employees. There isn't much to complain about ClockShark. However, in the future I would like to see the app autoclock employees in/out employees based on their arrival/departure of a set geo-fence. I understand there could be some hesitancy in an auto clock feature and it may not be something that we would set on all job sites, but I would at least like to have the option to add this for individual users or job sites. It is very buggy. The owner cannot stop getting alert emails despite me fixing his account and speaking to their customer service. On the flip side of that, I need the alert emails but can't seem to get any. After alerting customer service of these issues they said they would fix them and nothing ever happened.
The timesheet adjustment on the back end is quite clunky as well, there is no switch option when adjusting timesheets. I have to adjust times and install a new sheet every time an employee forgets to switch a task which is quite time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The way overtime is calculated. Saturday and Sunday can be setup as only overtime or double time. Then standard over 40 hours settings for the weeks. We are a union company and the contract dictates Fridays are overtime as well. I put a feature request in already, but who knows if it will be added. My request was that any day of the week could be customized for applicable OT and DT. Allow us to set OT after so many hours in one day, in one week, and then set any day of the week as OT or DT. Their tech support is amazing. I've used it a few times. Other than that, the platform itself is very intuitive and makes running a business that covers multiple different locations so very easy. I find myself using thier tools more than I thought I would need to. And it was simple to implement into our business. I have referred them to a few clients. I don't like that you do not have the ability to export any pages. If I want to share a timesheet with someone who doesn't have access, I have to take screen shots or give them limited access. The latter costing more money per month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clockshark makes it super easy to get all of my time including jobs and tasks into Quickbooks. Also whenever I do have a problem the staff at Clockshark are alwys there to help fix the problem. They can usually get it fixed in minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wish I could have different overtime rules for the payperiods that have a stat holiday in them. Wish i could chose the jobs that are in the list of jobs for each employee. This is becase I have to have headers for the customer but I don't want the employees to be able to clock into the header. Would like to be able to not have the headers show up. I would like the option for employees to approve their timesheets digitally including their lunches, total hours worked, and any OT. The team has said that they submitted this request as a product improvement idea so hopefully they'll make it happen soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer service was very prompt and actually the quickest response I have ever received.
It syncs pretty easy with quickbooks.
It would be nice if the mappings were a little more user friendly and clear. It's kind of confusing to set up at first.

I would like to see more custom settings for overtime hours per week/per pay period.
It would be nice to be able to set overtime hours per provincial regulations and have a banked hours option for each employee.
I also noticed the automatic break function is a little glitchy. When it is turned on, and the employee clocks out for their break, sometimes the system will give them a double break. Then I need to go adjust it manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
