While the service is spot on and the features are great the website itself is riddled with ads. Pop-up ads and lots of distracting advertising content that slows down my computer and causes it to lag. This is some what bothersome as it can cause my screen to freeze resulting in lost research information and is ironically counter intuitive to their time saving claims. Sometimes the year of the originally published article is incorrect. I have often found that the year mentioned in the citation as "2020", whereas the original article has been actually published years ago. If i were to check one by one. why dont i use microsoft manual typing so that for reference it is easy to comb the info
i wish it can be more fluid and cite directly on a browser with addon and link to microsoft tools or whatever office tools, dont mind premium
premium is painful as it is expensive and they dont disclose transparency or plans thatthey are going to work on

I like that I can annotate, save to library and easily access all my notes and cited info from my chrome extension. I live that I can curate and save my own cited and sourced data and that most of the data is already there on the site itself. There are so many great options and library's and databases it's a great tool and saved me tons of time I would've spent researching so I can write and still have the proper sourced and cited material making my content validated. Can be a bit stuck and easy for notes to get messy or unorganized. Also the website is crazy messy with ads. The ads cover content and make the experiences less fulfilling than it would be. I mean the site is top notch but with all those crazy messy blinking ads covering up valuable content space. It makes the value of the site go down in my opinion. Which is a shame. Also some of the cited material can come from not well supported websites which can be a bit of a pain but not too much. It's the ads that really rob the value of cite this for me.
