I am a legacy client who was moved over from PR Newswire after Cision purchased the company. I am also a Cision user, so in some ways, that worked out well. I use their release distribution services regularly, with little-to-no issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have several issues with PR Newswire. The first issue is their fault -- they have rigorous permissions in place to ensure that companies do not falsely promote M&A activity. This is great, to a point, but if you put out a lot of press releases in this arena, it is incredibly difficult to manage and can really slow down release dates. The second is an issue that is beyond PR Newswire's control -- the syndication has really gone down over the years, so the value has decreased, but the price has increased.
