For basic search I did find it very useful. It wasn't too complicated and if I did have a problem I liked that I was able to get feedback relatively quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The editorial calendar feature still needs to be developed as it is not very comprehensive and it's a bit confusing whether the deadlines listed are for advertising or editorial. Also, there was a time recently where one of the distribution tracking services was not available, but we were not aware until we had to ask Cision directly. There are bugs in the product which are not being fixed in a timely fashion, a UI that looks like it's from 1990, and we haven't been able to get business results we're after. Seems that there is some misrepresentation going on about how many outlets their press releases are "distributed" to. I understand it's a simple distribution service, but even then we saw very outlets syndicate or reprint the article (even verbatim) despite paying for the Premium distribution reach.

When it comes to managing inbound and outbound news media interaction, you need a tool that can encompass news wire distribution with custom list management and monitoring. PRWeb was already one the easiest distribution services out there, but mixing in the other functionality aforementioned should be a great product for the future.
