I like the visvility and flexibility. Harshit Pandey has been super helpful in suppourtiging me navigate the reporting space. For speedy decision-making, the dashboard's comprehensive picture of inventory levels, sales performance, and order management is especially helpful. Software is very efficient but whenever you need support, and I've only needed it couple times in my 4years there, there is NONE. I've been here for a long time because it got bought out by Cin7 few years ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been with a company called DEAR for inventory management, and they got bought out by CIN7. There is absolutely no customer or technical service, support, help - nothing.
Phone? Both numbers: 509-413-**** is busy, and you can't get through. Must not be a working number and 206-580-**** is a general voicemail that goes to neverland.
I used their chat function, and first, it goes to a virtual agent, and then you can connect to a live agent, but you wait for days, and no one ever comes on. I have even created a ticket.
It took them over a week to respond, and they didn't even resolve the issue. When I wrote back, they never responded. I pay over $400 month for this service, and I have never worked with a company that is this incompetent. I need things resolved quickly as it affects our financials, and there is literally NO ONE EVER THERE to email, chat, speak to, so I had to find them on Social Media and comment on their posts to get some answers or responses.
DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE SERVICE. The software might be efficient, but their customer service is HORRIBLE because there is literally no one there.
On their IG page, I actually see a full staff of people on there. I am not sure if they are fake or if that is real because they never respond to anything! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The functionality and the ease of use is definitely the best part of Cin7.
Have all of our operations and accounting processes streamlined has made the day-to-day operations of our business a lot easier to manage.
Cin7 has also streamlined our daily work flow and reduced the number of touch points for collecting sales.
The training support we received was also excellent - Aman was a great teacher and supported us throughout our journey. He was always available for a last minute meeting and was more than happy to assist with any queries we had. The only issue we experienced was not being able to split Woocommerce orders between branches without separating the orders completly. This was something we are working around due to stock issues, but it won't be a problem in the future once our stock levels at each branch are most consistent. The copy and paste function to import or update the various databases is a dream come true. No more painstaking data type formatting, just get your data in a simple spreadsheet (hwith the right header values) ctrl+C, ctr+V. Too easy and makes fixing errors a breeze. Our products import from Shopify using the product options method for colour and size as opposed to the native size grid. Unfortunately this means our sizes sort alphabetically in the user interface and in reporting. It would be useful to have a size order translation table somewhere to control this. Cin7 is easy to learn how to use and the implementation process is relatively straight forward also. The fact they have built it into modules of POs, products etc and interlinked them make the transition easy! I love the API access also as this has allowed us to automate lots of routine tasks internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Let's be honest, EVERY system as complex as this is a headache to use and maintain. So it all comes down to the people behind the scenes, and that's where Cin7 shines. I've been a customer since 2019, been through ups and downs, and I'm happy to say that I'm very, very happy with Cin7 today. They system is reasonably easy to use, especially compared to all the available options and it's a great fit for our SMB.
We NEVER could have scaled our business the way we have without their help. I've had people that our small business has a level of technology and automation that some $100 million companies would envy! And that's thanks to Cin7. We dropship for eight different major department stores, sell across multiple omnichannel marketplaces, and run our own Shopify websites. With orders coming in from multiple different sources, Cin7 operates as the single source of truth and makes everything work well.
The only time a human being touches one of our products is when they take it off the shelf at the 3PL and ship it. EVERYTHING else is fully automated. We launched on Macy's Marketplace after a relatively lightweight integration project, and the results have been impressive. There isn't much to dislike that isn't common among any compex software provider. Do things break sometimes? Of course. Are there sometimes features or capabilities that don't exist that I wish I had? Sure.
But the mark of any good software company is, how do they handle it when something breaks? And on this point, Cin7 excels and has gotten consistently better over the last several years.
A few years back, I complained to them that I would "open a ticket" and it wouldn't be addressed in any kind of prompt manner. They totally owned that weakness and tackled it head on. Today, if I open a ticket, I get a quick response. If I have a "Priority 1" emergency, I can get in touch with my Customer Success Manager, Amy, who totall kicks a** and makes things happen.
I'm very pleased with the team, the software, and the overall customer-centric attitude. I'm a loyal Cin7 customer.
Just earlier today in fact, I had an urgent problem with an EDI order for a major department store. I called Amy and she sprung into action. Even though the problem turned out to be an error on my part, and not a system problem, she took care of it immediately and got me on the phone with Rahul in their EDI department. Rahul has worked with me on a few different implementations now, and he is friendly, knowledgable and a total pro. Like I said, it's all about the people when it comes to working with a company like this.

I quickly get thorough support - great advice, quick fixes, custom fixes, detailed trouble-shooting and enhancement requests. Video calls with shared desktop, screenshots and super freindly support and technical staff.
UI, links and dashboards are user-friendly, intuitive, adaptable/customizable and more or less logical once you undrstand the terminology.
Plug ins for EDI to customers, API to 3PL, Shopify, Markeptlace, Xero Accounting all work out of the box and are easily tweaked and maximised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting could be improved tho the top line dashboard is good for Execs who like an 8 hour work week.
EDI Dashboards are super functional and easy to act on.
More detailed reporting can be saved with views, tho not selections and exported to excel to manipulate in excel templates - this would be the only area of improvement I'd suggest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
