It is a great tool to save and access data sets. With options like Visual and SQL you can get all the information from the data set saved on chartio. The best things is how chartio is organized, even if you don't know SQL you can use the visual option to create charts,evalute data and much more! Because our company focuses so much on metrics/analysis, we transfer our Chartio data into Excel to perform more complex calculations. For example, if you have more than three columns in Chartio, a pivot table won't work. I wish you could do everything in one place to simplify the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that everything is in the cloud and the non slide structure it has. The only thing I don't like about most other BIs is the slide centric dashboards. This structures enable a more natural story telling in my opinion Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It isn't very much a "dislike", the only thing I wish it had is a bulk edit to all or some charts inside a dashboard. For example, edit all selected charts to have the same filter enabled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Chartio’s ability to turn raw SQL queries into powerful visualizations that can be easily shared via PDF is something that has improved my workflow this year. Also, we use Snowflake as our data warehousing provider, so the ability to quickly connect Chartio to a Snowflake Reader Account is way easier than Power BI or Tableau, in my experience. The requirements to share internal dashboards are sometimes limiting. The fact that everyone needs a Chartio license to even visualize the reports I'm creating is very limiting, so I end up exporting the dashboard to a PDF and sharing that internally. This is not ideal, but it's the workaround that I've found to be useful.

Also, I find the chart selection limiting in a way. When looking at competitors like Power BI or Tableau, their chart selection is much broader and can be easily extended, whereas Chartio has a much more limited selection of charts and visualizations to choose from. I'd definitely recommend exploring the option of extending the availability of different visualizations because that would empower me to use Chartio even more. The main feature that I like is the visual representation of the data, as it helps to understand trends easily. I could also customize the view with complete precision.
