We have a large team of people. Mistakes are bound to happen - you just hope none of them are ruinious. CertifID's system ensures we are protected from the most costly errors - wire fraud and seller/party ID fraud. We run every payoff through Payoff Protect to ensure payoffs get to the correct account. CertifID's newly added ID verification makes me rest easy knowing we verified the seller, heirs, POAs, etc and they are who they say they are. I wish there was a more comprehensive fee schedule. Not an individual charge for each product every time. People don't like paying to send us wiring instructions just to get their money. Verifying seller and heir ID is so important that it should be included in the pricing plan. I love that it is eays to use and it is super user friendly. We use this software very single day! It makes our closing process easier for sending wire instructions. It also saves us time with colelcting and confirming wire information in the beginning of the transaction. I find CertifID to be one of the best softwares ever created, it definitely helps prevent fraud. Its worth every single penny. We also have the payoff subscription in which we can confirm the wire instructions for payoffs. This was definitely a game changer as fraudsters are now chnaging the wire instructions in payoffs and generate it to look identical to the original. The only small cmplaint I have about CertifID is that our spanish speaking clients cannot use it. I wish they had a spanish version, that would be a game changer for us since most of the people in south florida are spanish speakers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate the ease of submitting a request for information to people. It asks for specific information but its kept to a minimum. It is easy for us to explain to our clients what to expect and they have had success using it. The fact that we can now search for loan payoff banking information is even better! We have only come across one problem and that was a bank that had recently merged with another bank, and we were approved with 2 different sets of instructions that were obtained through CERTIFID and they were both returned. It streamlines the process and makes sending/receiving wiring details a lot easier. I like that it's all controlled within the ProForm/SoftPro software. I like the follow-up CertifID provides once the steps are complete. It is quite user friendly. I appreciate having additional identity-checks in place to assist our transactions. * You cannot have a "Failed" CertifID request "fixed." Requests just have to be resent.

* If you are entering an LLC in ProForm, you have to go back in and ADD the primary name of the managing LLC partner. Then, send your wiring instructions/requests. Then, you go to the CertifID 360 option, choose his/her name from your dropdown list, and send. But because we don't want the name(s) of the LLC managers in ProForm where we actually place the name of the LLC, you have to go back into ProForm and change it back to the LLC's name after you have received a "CertifID" notice. So. it's just inconvenient. But definitely doable. It's just if you forget to remove the member(s) names(s) and replace it with the LLC name again, your internal documents waiting to be signed at closing will have the wrong name(s) on it. Regardless of whether it's a payoff or proceeds wire, not only are we getting verification that the beneficiary is legitimate, the wire instructions provided are covered up to $1 million against fraud. Now that CertifDI has rolled out its payoff validation product, there's nothing to dislike. I get monthly solicitations from similar vendors and CertifID is still the preferred method of wire verification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
