The financial reporting tool - Maestro Analytics and the Personnel module, the budgeting section, and the forecasting tool are my favorite parts of Centage.Implementation and Product support are also top notch. Centage has a wide variety of features. The integration with D365 Business Central is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside I see with Centage is the delay in posted entries to when they are reflected in the financials. I do think this will be a feature enhancement in the future to where data can be updated multiple times a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a number of different revenue streams and Centage allows us to create custom calculations and setting as we need them. I also like the variety of reporting options using the Analytics Maestro add on to really get an understanding of our data in order to best plan for the future. The Customer Support team is very responsive and helpful in addressing any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because the Analytics Maestro is used with Excel, there is a download process to move the data that you need. In order to get the most current actual data this is a two-step process which can take up to 30 minutes. Part of it could be set to run automatically but I prefer to do it as needed. Also, some of the screens have default views for certain elements and it would be better if those could be customized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We really like the rollup features of Planning Maestro. We manage 65 companies with different ownership, so being able to look at plans by company, by manager, by division, etc is extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
End users would like some functions similar to Excel functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool is highly configurable, eliminates the error-prone manual Excel process for budgeting and forecasting, increases our accuracy, and is an enormous time saver. I cannot imagine managing the finances of our non-profit without it. The customer service team responds quickly to my requests, is knowledgeable, and is excellent to work with. While it's true that setting up the tool and learning to utilize its capabilities fully can take some time, the customer service team is always there to guide you. In my five years of using the product, I've always received the support I needed to meet every reporting deadline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Planning Maestro is an excellent planning tool. It is easy to use, allows for long term budgeting and more frequent forecasting. Once the software is set up, it is relatively easy to maintain it. It has a lot of flexibility - budgeting with as much detail or as little as your organization requires. It integrates with several accounting packages so that actual information can be brought into PM with ease. Refreshable reports in Excel is a bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
mass updates are a bit more problematic as changes in information often result in duplicate records that have to be removed. There is no copy/paste function which existed in the prior version of the software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Planning Maestro is the proprietary nature of the software. It allows the user to cater financial reports based on the user of the financial information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To get real-time data that ties back to your source ERP the integration must be perfect. The integration process can be challenging and cumbersome at first given the fact you may be new to using the software or it's your first time performing this task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like anything about Centage Planning Maestro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I disliked wasting so much time and effort with a bad product. I also disliked getting poor support, which manifested in being passed from one person to another and problems not getting fixed. Our primary person didn't know her own solution well, so she kept saying she'd speak with an engineer. Days became weeks, and nothing got resolved. I also disliked getting threatened by their law firm, when I complained publicly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
