Cassandra is running pretty smoothly over on Ubuntu 20, it is running world class retail applications. We are running the different retail required databases on Cassandra database, and on underlay it is using Ubuntu OS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Cassandra on Ubuntu 20?
Ubuntu unattended upgrades has caused the problems in past twice, which changed the dhclient, which ultimately removed the dhcp config from the clients and caused the very big outage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quick schema evolution is one of the best thing in Cassandra.
Learning curve is not that huge.

We are using Cassandra as main storage unit in production, we are seeing lot of issues which retrieving the data. Utilize the TTL functionality to ensure data expiry after certain time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
